Emmm, well, that's a thing. Really don't know what to make of that, some of that animation looked really rough.

A bit of a discussion on the general goings on at Warner whatever they're called.

Tony Cervone said they still recorded the score for the movie, since they paid in advance for the stage and musicians. So I guess the movie is even closer to being complete now for what it's worth. http://instagr.am/p/Cg70BbTPaLW The joy of Sunk Costs. These costs have already been incurred and cannot be recovered to any meaningful degree, but that does not mean you should continue spending money on the project (see sunk cost or Concord fallacy)

So whilst Velma might not air on HBO Max, it’s not dead. Fox and The CW (post-sale) are interested in the series. I thought The CW were having their own bonfire of shows, or even on the bonfire themselves.

Anyway, you all remember this guy, George Avocados from SD:MI? In one of the episodes Velma (I think) said something along the lines that you could never trust someone with hair that perfect or similar. But I can't find the exact words in. Does anyone know exactly what was said or has a link to a clip containing the quote? Cheers

...I think the gang should be fleshed out more into real human-like traits like in MI and Be Cool, Where Are You and What’s New, and less of running around like brainless pawns like Guess Who. Interesting, I found Be Cool to be the coldest representation of the gang out of all the various versions to the extent that at times their interactions resembled that of 4 people that had never met before or shared anything in common with each other beyond that they were in a van with a dog. Back to SD:MI it was always going to leave me cold as I don't like soap operas in general, the contrived 'drama' on top of contrived 'drama' just grinds my gears. As for a potential series 3, I'm with elemage, make Velma & Marcie's relationship on-screen canon and bring back Mindy Cohn as Velma.

Difficult one, I really disliked a lot of what they did with the characters, especially in the 1st series as the relationships between the gang were quite toxic at times. I almost gave up on the show because it seemed more teen soap opera than anything else. They seemed to drop a lot of that in the second half and let the underlying story take over so I was glad to have watched it to the end.
So it depends, if they're going back to Scooby Doo:Socially Dysfunctional of the first part then no thank you, if it's more like the second then it could be good.

Ah I see we're taking another boat trip round the 'anyone who dislikes this show is racist' lighthouse.
Anyway, thinking about the premise of the show, an origin story for Velma, well, we already do have one in canon, albeit a very short one.

Just picked up #116 to see and there's some improvement but still far short of what it used to be. There again I'm not the target market for this.

It really depends, when the writers focus on team dynamics and interplay between the characters he's a main character, when it's just him and Scooby goofing off for slapstick then he's main but to the deteriment of that episode/DTV/whatever. Often his antics seem to just be used as filler to pad out the running length rather than moving the story along. Filler? What would call Fred and the girls back in the older shows when they focoused more on the two? Besides we've had tons of Direct to DVD movies that have focoused on Shaggy. Not to mention the Shaggy and Scooby solo spin off's. The latest after Velma which won't have Fred and the girls in it. The question of filler is when his and Scooby's antics serve no purpose but to pad out an episode.

Appears in every scooby series and movie even one where Fred and the girls play minor roles. What do you guys think? It really depends, when the writers focus on team dynamics and interplay between the characters he's a main character, when it's just him and Scooby goofing off for slapstick then he's main but to the deteriment of that episode/DTV/whatever. ...My eyesight is very poor without contact lenses and I've had a hard lens stuck behind my eye once... If you need RPGs then I'd recommend mini-scleral lenses (I uses these, a total gamechanger for me). Way less 'mobile' than a regular lens.

I had PK last year, what did you have done? retina repair, removal of vitreous and insertion of a gas bubble. doctor was very pleased with the surgery outcome and immediate post operation look in the eye. 1 only have this eye that works, so they had bo be extra sure that the surgery worked. otherwise i'd be completely blind. Yikes, that's a big deal, puts my PK into persepctive. Stay safe my friend.
