of course this being the first episode, there have been several takes on it, and I wanted to go over those in a documentation-ish style. In the comic, "Scooby-Doo Where Are You!" published by Golden Key, we get a near shot for shot remake of the episode, but in comic form. The first thing you'll notice is that we actually get to see Scooby's inner thoughts even in conjunction with his dialogue. Seems to happen less and less frequently as the comic goes on however. The art in this comic isn't all that great, I mean the mystery machine is *expletive censored* pink for crying out loud which I kinda love even though its really poor quality and inconsistent in design. But some of the panels honestly look better than the show on rare occasions. Lots of the dialogue is obviously pulled from the episode itself, but some of it seems cut off or poorly translated? I'm not really sure how to describe it but when it happens it's pretty obvious what I mean. Like this panel, "you're the swingingest"? out of context that just doesn't make any sense but if you watch the episode we actually learn that Shaggy is a gymnast, but all they left in here was the nonesense/slang word to describe how athletic he is. I mean, that's like if I said, "Yeah bro, you can do it! you're the wittyist!". Like, what the hell does that even mean? I'd go on for longer in this post but I'm short on time and the image limit is 3 and it really doesnt make sense to rant about this comic without context. Maybe I'll add more later? IDK, but I will cover Classic Creep Capers if someone else doesn't beat me to it.

What do you mean by more lenient? Poor collision detection or dadly shaped collision boxes I'd guess. yea, collision is just programmed worse (from what I know)

In terms of glitches Xbox has more lenient collision, but other than that you basically have it covered.

I would like to note that I've been absent from this forum because I was simply doing other things. S1E5 of WAY! Decoy For A Dognapper, we get one that's eerily similar to the N100F one, I would even go as far to say it inspired it.

Long since, I've shared this same comic with ThatSpideyDude, a member of the discord, asking if they could do a re-draw. They turned up with this: I'm still currently debating how far I want to colaborate with them, but there is a chance this could become pivotal to both of our contributions to the S-D! community.

Welker is the last connection to the original Scooby. I could see Welker playing fred for at least 10 more years, health permitting, but at some point we're going to need a new Fred. If you've got ideas, I'm all ears. Frank is one of a kind, we'll totally have to live with the fact that we won't get another one, so get creative with it!

On February 24th Masqueradesfox uploaded this Chinese book to the Scooby-Doo Discord. With what little I could make out with Optical Character Recognition software and a hiragana chart I attempted to translate it. If anyone who sees this thread is better at chinese than I, or even owns the book please share additional knowledge. 尹酉萱璽 "Yin You Xuan Xi" [It’s in the same font as the traditional Scooby-Doo logo, possibly just ‘Scooby-Doo’ in localized form] 深海探毽号 “Deep sea exploration number” [That’s most likely butchered, but given it's position next to what seems to be the logo, it may be a subtitle.] 几童画? [It refers to the quantity of 'children's drawings'. The last letter is beyond me.] ?国华纳公司授权出版 [90% sure this is the publication signature, presumably by Warner Bros.] 国内第一本少儿探案历险涅画杂志 “Nirvana Magazine: The 1st Adventure Book For Children In China” [could be a longer version of the 'children's drawings' one from before, but for sure this is the magazine company that put it out] I couldn’t find an english equivalent either through reverse image search or just scanning through a list of Scooby-Doo books also released in 2008 (which I didn’t mention before, that’s the date on it). Hopefully through contributions to this thread we can find out more about this book, but that’s all I got for now.

I'm indifferent honestly. I think anything could be done right, but that's just thing. Scrappy hasn't been done right yet. Despite me disliking Scott Innes's other voices, I think he's the best as Scrappy, not even Messick got him QUITE annoying enough. I like the idea of Scrappy on paper, he's very much the yang to Scooby's yin. But I've yet to see him live up to that idea, and I'd like to give him that chance.

This is a storyboard cut. I tweeted it out as a teaser for an animation I'm working on, hopefully I can make this work the way it does in my head. goo.gl/skdQ1RIt will include gags pulled from Mystery Mayhem and other Scooby-Doo videogames, in hopes to promote the Scooby-Doo speedrunning community. If you enjoy the Scooby Doo games, speedrunning is a very good way to relive your experience with a brand new twist!

Not sure I wish for such a thing, however I notice lots of character dynamics are tread on during the time they started adding extra dogs. Admittedly, even Dum has some very clone qualities to him, despite my defenses of him on other threads.

I've come to understand that not every contribution with the Scooby Doo community will be positive, and this is the time that I will recognize such an occurrence. Much earlier in 2017, probobly in the late spring, I began to write posts for Scoobypedia. 2/3 uploads and hours of work into a page would be removed without warning and without changelog as to why my contribution was removed; and soon I learned that no matter how much I tried to appeal or ask for advice, I would need to trial and error all my posts or deny the website of my further contributions. I want to post this not as a warning to you but as a reminder to me that being open minded can help me avoid such issues however inevitable they may be.
