I say focus on Shelma for a while to balance things out. Yes and no. I do like Shelma and I think there is a lot of mileage for humour and the like but overall I think I'd prefer them to drop relationships completely, sure put a few bits of interaction interaction in for the various shippers to awwwww over or the more excitable elements to climb on their high-horses and crow that this is incontrovertible proof that they were right and all other shippers should be dammed as heretics etc etc.

Disney and Warner Brothers are two separate companies. Plus WB has Looney Tunes (which is there own creation) they can live off of rather than treating Scooby-Doo like it's their creation. And not everyone has web accounts so you can't judge the majority of people won't accept Shaphne. There have also been small hints of Shaphne in What's New? and Be Cool. And what's your point? You can find hints of whatever ship you want in whatever series you want, it called Conformation Bias. WB have had a few missteps with the crossover DTVs but don't view the past with rose-coloured spectacles some of the HB stuff was quite grim as well. So cutting to the chase you would rather Scooby Doo cease production, no more DTVs, series, comics etc until the arrival of your personal Shaphne/Scrappy utopia?

I have now gotten my grubby little hands on 1 through 10 of Scooby Apocalypse, and I have been waiting for a perfect time to settle in and enjoy it. So Ooooo, looking foward to 10. Though I am not too surprised, as one of the covers of Ten, has Velma in a throne, with barbarian looking gear, and chains to the rest of the group. Sooooooo... really curious. No spoils yet. I want a fresh experience. Well when you do let us know what you think about it.

Pair of Old hats are we. Though I actually still feel like a fledgling in my writing. Ignoring that I have been around Scooby FFnet for years now. Good to see you out and about in the community RussM. ^_^ And that there are still some of us around and kicking for this long. Though man... I'm 5 years older then you in FFnet, but still. Almost 7 years is a lot. We'll have to celebrate when your account turns 10! I look forward to your tutelage, oh RussM sempai. As I join this new community along with everyone else. Whoo Scooby. Well I'll try and tutle, my not be in anything useful to you though :-) On a positive note I'm getting back into writing Scooby Fan Fiction after a hiatus of a year or two, doing a part two to a story by David-Presents (https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12374590/1/The-Scooby-Scare) a bit of danger-prone Daphne silliness with a twist.

Thankies. I actually used to talk quite regularly to the owner of VelmaDinkley.com back in the last 90's early 2000's. There was a great gang on their yahoo group, that really taught me a lot about Scooby when I came to the realization of how much of a fan I was. (I was working for a Blockbuster, and had a mother come in with her daughter in search of a good Scooby movie to make a classic SDWAY Daphne costume for Halloween. They were grabbing the wrong one, which had her jumper, not her dress, so I steered them to the right one, and offered other assistance with their Scooby questions. Afterwards, I decided that I had two choices. Either continue as is and just be a minor Scooby Geek, or take the plunge and learn as much as I could about the Series. I choose the latter.) So I spent a lot of time with the guy who ran the website in the chat, and the various people at the time who were amazing and welcomed me in to their group. Sadly, most have moved on, or have their normal adult lives to pay more attention too. But I made some really good connections. (I actually know and talk to my Writing hero Littlesprano, and she likes my work! <3) So I love the site and it has some amazing and great information on there. I just wished I remembered half the stuff I learned about Scooby from them. VelmaDinkley.com was my first Scooby site and forum I frequented. Put my first stories up there on the forum before they made their public debut on Fan Fiction. The site and forum are pretty dormant now with only one or two people still posting there. Littlesprano's Voyage of Self Discovery is IMHO the Gold Standard of Fan Fiction

hard to believe this episode is nearly 40 years old.. Yet due to Scooby productions always taking place in present day (for when they're made), Shaggy's year of birth is now 1999 when originally it was 1952. Simple, Shaggy's a Timelord

SO much retconning would be required, Scooby's origins are nebulous and I don't think it has harmed the franchise.

And well, Evil Velma is just so enjoyable. Because wow, she is pretty neat as a villainess (again) Even if she is well, don't want to spoil it. Then there's the really evil Velma from Scooby Apocalypse #10.
