I guess it's quite obvious that with JCB and most of the crew leaving the project Season 2 would be Be Cool's last one so I was wondering what you were thinking could be the next series.
I think CN would opt for a season 3 of Mystery Inc or transform Scooby Apocalypse into a series maybe for a different channel. It could also be the end after Be Cool tho..

I can only hope that the franchise will go to someone other than CN as they are indifferent towards non-CN shows.

Probably a 2016 reboot of what's new. Or maybe Be Cool will keep on after all. Who knows? It's a new year, anything's possible.

Whilst I would be interested in an animated version of Apocalypse I wouldn't want Cartoon Network to touch it with a barge-pole. I'm not sure you will see one thought, partly due to the old 'who owns the rights to do what with what' issues that bedevil things like this and, lets face it, the comic is loosing ~2000 readers every issue, essentially if the trend continues in ten issues time nobody will be reading the comic, not a firm foundation. I'm always happy to be wrong and something might be in the works (but please, not a live action musical unless it's in the Rocky Horror or Little Shop of Horrors style). The story would also need to be significantly reworked to make it work as an animated film or series (put a rocket up it's posterior for starters).
Aside from the films I don't think we'll see any new Scooby Doo TV series for a couple of years

Wait, who said anything about a live action musical?

Wait, who said anything about a live action musical? Me, but not in a serious vein.

I think we won't see a new series until after the theatrical movie comes out, maybe 2019.

With the way CN is currently airing Be Cool right now, probably 2099. Lol
But in all seriousness, like SS and russm said I doubt we'll be seeing anything new for a while other than the movies.

I think we might have one tied in to Scoob in 2018.

Serious pondering question: Who do we lobby at to try and get WB Animation to make their Scooby (and heck others too) without it being for CN/Boom?
I'm not sure how that all nestles when it comes down to rights and contracts. But I sincerely doubt Scooby on tv is going to bloom like it has dtv and can in theaters until we ditch CN/Boom.

That's a great idea, but I'm not sure if it would solve the problem of poor releasing, as I don't think CN has anything to do with that. IMO besides the DTVs we should get something like the 13 Spooky Tales sets (which seem to be discontinued) or season/compilation sets, but last year we only saw a bunch of rereleases.

I'm nopt sure that WB can broadcast scooby on another network under current agreements, so moving to another network is likely not an option

I wish people would stop asking for a season 3 of Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated. It's done; finished! It's been done for four years now! And in terms of storytelling, it wouldn't make sense and would just make both seasons 1 and 2 pointless. Not to mention the impossibility of getting everyone who originally worked on it back on board for a sure-to-fail season 3.
I agree though that a Scooby-Doo series after Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! probably won't be created until after 2018's S.C.O.O.B. That movie will breathe life back into the series, similar to what Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island did. There will be all sorts of merchandise and the idea of a spin-off show or just a new show in general is very likely.
It's a shame in my opinion that Cartoon Network didn't treat Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! better. I absolutely loved this cartoon and I would've loved to see it go on past Season 2.
Scooby Apocalypse is an interesting comic story of the gang but I am putting my bets at 99:1 that this will NEVER be adapted for TV.
