It looks like it's a cross between MTV's Behind The Music and the 90s Scooby-Doo skits you'd have on Cartoon Network.

This actually sounds promising.

This is something that is 2 years late. Probably what should have been made for the 50th anniversary instead of the 13th Ghost and Zombi Island reboot sequels.

Omg... new Scooby content is always welcome. Tho this sounds so weird, especially since we don't know if it's animated or not. Tho the producer's company never made any animated content so I'm scared! However they are used to produce reunion content so I hope it will have loads of references. The CW is slowly approaching Scooby. I feel that they are starting with this special before their live action spin off treatments they usually give. Also, it's produced by Warner's unscripted shows company which means it will be so meta. Well Im excited. Always glad to be a fan of this franchise, we get to constantly receive stuff

Never mind, I just saw it's produced by Warner Bros. Animation. stupid me It's being presented as a mockumentary, and will presumably have live action footage that is animated over, a la:

This was a 2022 DTV film.
As it stands, the Courage crossover is the final DTV Scooby-Doo film.
It seems that all the DTV-like projects going forward will debut initially on The CW and/or HBO Max.

Final Scooby DTV?? So no more Scooby DTV movies after this? What’s your source? I find this odd because my friend is working on a DTV Scooby movie slated to come out in 2023 and it’s definitely not the Courage one.

They'll be digital, not on disc I presume. Which is interesting since many Scooby fans enjoy having physical media. So much so that people make unofficial DVD box sets of TNSDMysteries. It's an interesting move.
Edit: It certainly will allow for more Scooby, but at what writing quality? If a movie isn't good enough to put on disc, I'm not sure I'm excited to watch it.

Wait, id this was gonna be the new DTV film, how does it make sense? Cuz it says its an hour-long special, which American tv speaking is 40mins including commercials. Plus would that mean that if we get this we don’t get the first half of 2022’s DTV?

Well I think he meant that it’s the last movie going direct to video ans the next one will be on tv and streaming. I actually prefer it like that, also they don’t need to spend money on producing the physical copy and for the rollout, so they could save up to make more Scoobys. Also, since you mentioned it, can we know more about this 2023 DTV lolol. Your fault, you mentioned it so you’re gonna get us hungry for more

Somebody was speculating that Zombie Returns was written the way it was to avoid international issues with real ghosts in children's media. I'd be interested in more info about that.

Those services are US only so what about other 95% of the world's population? They stopped DVD production here in Italy yeaaars ago. And since we cant have HBO Max cuz Sky has a contract to get all the content til 2024 or something like that, we just get it ontv channels. Like all the movies were broadcasted on boomerang, Daphne and Velma was shown on Premium Cinema, the LEGO movies on Cartoon Network and the Mystery Map on a channel for younger kids. Thats how it would work. And now, we’re mostly getting them on other platforms like itunes, Infinity etc. like, dont worry about that, each country surely has a way to buy the content and distribute it with the channels they have. There was actually an issue, after mask of the blue falcon here. That was the last release in DVD we had, I think, and for years we didnt get any new release whatsoever. Thats until 2016 where in one month they broadcasted all the movies we missed, like 6 or 7 and from then on they regularly broadcast the new ones, usually within the Usa month of release or at least within the year
