What all has Scrappy? I know that the Kickstarter CMON game has a Scrappy figure, as well as that squishy-toy line. There’s a jacket with just scrappy on it, a t-shirt with the gang including scrappy at Walmart, another t-shirt with the gang and Scrappy at target I think, and the official Scooby Instagram account made a post about scrappy on puppy day. Again they are testing the waters like I I mentioned.

That's good news. I'd like to see him come back, even just occasionally like you said. Scott or somebody could voice him fairly easily.

I know you probably can't give us too much information, but I hope the crossovers are natural and make sense. And I hope there's either a return of Scrappy, or some adaptation of Scooby Apocalypse in the works. What I can say is that some of the crossovers do make sense. There’s one coming up that in my opinion is a bit random and I’m trying to figure out how the heck they are going to make that work but time will tell. I will also say that the Courage movie has been swapped for another one. We are still getting Courage but it’s coming out 2022 and another movie will take it’s place for 2021. Hint: the movie is NOT the reunion special that’s something completely independent from it. From what I’m hearing there are no plans for Apocalypse that was kind of a one off thing and the reception was so mixed I’m not sure they will go back to that. But that’s what I last heard. Now SCRAPPY! here’s something interesting...if you notice they have been putting more Scrappy merch out there. That’s not a coincidence. They are testing the waters to see how people react to him. If enough people buy the Scrappy merch they might consider bringing Scrappy back in the future. So it’s up in the air atm but they are testing it with how much the current Scrappy merch is selling. IF he returns he won’t be a permanent feature more so an occasional guest star. And he won’t be a bad guy it’ll be the Scrappy you saw in the first season of the Scooby and Scrappy Doo show. Again that’s IF the merch sells well. Intresting wonder what the movie replacing the courage movie is going to be about.

Hopefully they would base a returning Scrappy on his "The New Scooby and Scrappy Doo Show"/"The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries" self, where he and Daphne were partners and he contributed to the mystery. Rather than the "Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo" version that pushes Fred, Daphne and Velma to the side, hogs all the screentime and does nothing to further the mystery.

If Scrappy was to return things could go 2 ways
First: If WB wants to keep the full gang they could just have the episodes focus on different selected gang members and alternate
Second: As they are giving Velma an adult spin-off they could be going the recent SpongeBob route with doing multiple spin-offs at once. One with the original five for transitional fans and one with just Scooby, Scrappy, Shaggy and Daphne for the Scrappy fans. Maybe the different voice actors in Scoob was a test for the spin-offs so the main voice actors won't be overworked with multiple projects.

It looks like it's a cross between MTV's Behind The Music and the 90s Scooby-Doo skits you'd have on Cartoon Network. oooh nice, I'm interested in this!

One of the producers tells me The CW is interested in premiering an upcoming Scooby-Doo crossover movie with Superdog. It would debut on The CW before becoming available to HBO Max and digital download.

For some reason I expect this to be similar to "Happy Birthday Scooby-Doo" from The New Scooby Mysteries, with the Gang supposed to reunite and stuff.
(Sorry, I started a thread about this on the "Specials" sub-forum. This one seems to have more discussion though.)

The promotion of Scooby debuts in general to the CW would get them a bigger audience than present day CN or Boomerang could get them. The moving the Flintstone series to Fox is also very much connected to that. At this rate the existence of a Cartoon Network could be considered worth changing. Debut your main things on the bigger networks and the others on HBO Max.
However i'm going to want some harder evidence that doing so would force them out of the disc market. As that doesn't go along with what other sources are telling us and what the direction the actual evidence of WB over the last several months has been.
I tracked down that rumor that WB was ending it's home media program for my other topic and all I found it lead to was Jerry Beck running his mouth and the people who lurk on a certain website doing their whine now, think later deal taking it out of context. There's also the problem that some of these same people jumped to the conclusion that this mean ending Warner Home Video yet failed to understand that would eliminate digital hd just as much as dvd and blu. So I'm not considering that credible in the least.
Also you told us before in the other thread you were based in the UK, right? I ask because the US side isn't showing any signs of closing up their home media game. It's changing but not ending. They just put out the first announcements of the new partnership with Universal. They are finally putting some of the older Turner releases back in print, their exclusive deals for some versions of DTV movies to certain retail stores and some mod to certain online stores also have continued.
Is the Uk and other European countries following the same suit or is Warner's international equivalents acting very differently than the US one?

Is the Uk and other European countries following the same suit or is Warner's international equivalents acting very differently than the US one? As I said before, in Italy they discontinued the home media releases for Scooby after Mask of the Blue Falcon. Also Beach beastie was just a tv release. And Music of the vampire too, they skipped it and then broadcasted it together with all the other movies coming after Mask of the blue Falcon, the Mystery Map and Beach Beastie in one month in 2016. Now they usually follow the US release date tp broadcast them on Boomerang, either very close to the date or a month or few months later. And they also put them in streaming to buy or rent everywhere.
