A reunion special? LOL When did the Gang ever take a break? Also, I fully expect Scrappy to be either disrespected or ignored as always.
And I also would like to hear about this 2023 DTV. I wish Scrappy would come back, though. It's been 33 years.

Somebody was speculating that Zombie Returns was written the way it was to avoid international issues with real ghosts in children's media. I'd be interested in more info about that. TBH I would be surprised that those involved in the production would care less about those issues as their focus would seem to be the soley the American market. Unless they think there's going to be a return to the 'satanic panic' of the 80's in which case they might do.

Well as someone who knows someone in WB I can confirm it has nothing to do with that. It’s just simply the ones in charge think the essence of Scooby is fake monsters. It’s not a conspiracy or anything complicated it’s simpler than you think. Think about it. If that was they case then why did SCOOB, which has a more international reach than any DTV movie, have a real Cerberus monster. It’s just personal taste. In my opinion I prefer fake monsters. However, I think for the 50th anniversary they should’ve done a family reunion with Scooby and the gangs family members solving a mystery. That would’ve been much more a appreciate than a movie that did not need a sequel.

Final Scooby DTV?? So no more Scooby DTV movies after this? What’s your source? I find this odd because my friend is working on a DTV Scooby movie slated to come out in 2023 and it’s definitely not the Courage one. Well I think he meant that it’s the last movie going direct to video ans the next one will be on tv and streaming. I actually prefer it like that, also they don’t need to spend money on producing the physical copy and for the rollout, so they could save up to make more Scoobys. Also, since you mentioned it, can we know more about this 2023 DTV lolol. Your fault, you mentioned it so you’re gonna get us hungry for more Haha no worries. Well without getting my friend in trouble I can’t say too much. But I will say that we are getting plenty more crossovers after the Courage movie.

Not a fan as I don’t like the idea of the gang having broken up

She will be more like her SDWAY/WNSD version in which she was skeptical but nice and reasonable about it.

The only crossover I’d be into is them teaming up with their clones from the HB days, but even that is too much.

Yeah from what I’m hearing expect ALOT more crossovers in future DTV movies. Ironically the crossovers are selling more than the ones we’re the gang is alone so they are following the money it seems.

I'm really excited for this! I know people are worried about it being adult, but I have a feeling it's going to be similar to Scooby Goes Hollywood.
Although I think some leaps were taken here reading other people's comments...it's not a Christmas special, or at least I don't think that's been confirmed. In addition, Courage has not been confirmed to be the last ever DTV. The whole mess about people thinking WB was stopping home media production was cleared up by the person whose comments started the whole thing, and he said his words were taken out of context. We also don't know if Courage will even be the next DTV. They could have switched things around again like they did with Happy Halloween and Sword and the Scoob.

I know you probably can't give us too much information, but I hope the crossovers are natural and make sense. And I hope there's either a return of Scrappy, or some adaptation of Scooby Apocalypse in the works.

I know you probably can't give us too much information, but I hope the crossovers are natural and make sense. And I hope there's either a return of Scrappy, or some adaptation of Scooby Apocalypse in the works. What I can say is that some of the crossovers do make sense. There’s one coming up that in my opinion is a bit random and I’m trying to figure out how the heck they are going to make that work but time will tell. I will also say that the Courage movie has been swapped for another one. We are still getting Courage but it’s coming out 2022 and another movie will take it’s place for 2021. Hint: the movie is NOT the reunion special that’s something completely independent from it. From what I’m hearing there are no plans for Apocalypse that was kind of a one off thing and the reception was so mixed I’m not sure they will go back to that. But that’s what I last heard. Now SCRAPPY! here’s something interesting...if you notice they have been putting more Scrappy merch out there. That’s not a coincidence. They are testing the waters to see how people react to him. If enough people buy the Scrappy merch they might consider bringing Scrappy back in the future. So it’s up in the air atm but they are testing it with how much the current Scrappy merch is selling. IF he returns he won’t be a permanent feature more so an occasional guest star. And he won’t be a bad guy it’ll be the Scrappy you saw in the first season of the Scooby and Scrappy Doo show. Again that’s IF the merch sells well.

What all has Scrappy? I know that the Kickstarter CMON game has a Scrappy figure, as well as that squishy-toy line.
