This idea was obviously forced in by judgmental feminists... And your proof for this is...? He's just mad that it won't include Shaphne or Scrappy. Also he'll look for any reason to judge new Scooby installments negatively. He does it all the time on deviantart. He clicks on some fan art based on one of the DTVs and talks about how he hates all new Scooby shows and movie because Shaggy and Daphne are not shipped and Scrappy is omitted.

Also he has an irrational hatred of Fred and Velma because they both stand in the way of the Shaphne ship becoming canon.

Personally I think instead of a live action Scooby movie with no Scooby, they should just make a live action Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels movies.
I mean outside of Cavey himself the entire main cast of that show is all female.

The main reason why I dislike Fred and Velma is because they have always been bland characters in my point of views. I will admit that Daphne is a bland character outside of the mid 1980's series. Plus, I find Fred to be annoying in Pup and the WB shows.

live action films based on cartoons are problematic. see the beauty and the beast remake. in general for cartoon network properties the live action films stink. BADLy. see the Ben 10 live action films.

Plus, I find Fred to be annoying in Pup and the WB shows. I don't really care about Fred from the classic half of the main continuity as he had no personality at the time but the new writers have really improved him. Supposedly he now is written as someone with Asperger's syndrome (or Maybe that was just in Mystery Incorporated but the writers have supposedly said that at least one version of him has it) but is a largely sympathetic character. Unlike many characters people think have Asperger's, he doesn't have such a high opinion of himself that he only has room for a negative opinion of everyone else (*cough* Sheldon Cooper). Also unlike Sheldon, he isn't so selfish and unlikable that you just want to kill him.

i have my issues with the characters from Mystery Inc in general. As someone who has aspergers, i can tell when someone has it, and imo fred is too fixation traps to the exclusion of nothing else to be classed as having AS.

Any trailers? With the release just a few weeks away I'd expect to see something.
