What characters do you wish they left out of this series? I liked the Jonny Quest issue but wish they included Jessie Bannon. I hated the Impossibles issue (it was so boring). Also the Hong Kong Phooey issue was a waste as Hong Kong Phooey is given almost nothing to do throughout the story.

Scrappy, unless they're just going to throw another predictable bone to the Scrappy haters and make him a villain again, in which case forget it. I want to see Scooby Dum be a villain just so people have to point out that he's too stupid to do the kind of planning required of a Scooby-Doo villain.

scrappy was, rightly or wrongly, not particularly liked among the fandom. tim curry, who is a big scooby buff and has been in a number of Scooby projects, was going to be in the 2002 film until he found out Scrappy was going to be in it. Mr Curry is NOT a fan of Scrappy, so he dropped out. rowan atkinson ended up with Curry's role. Where did you hear that? I still think the real Mondarvarius should have been the main villain and Scrappy should have just been a brainwashed pawn.

The green guy is Beast Boy. Also it's Starfire not Stella.

Scooby is essentially Shaggy's brother from another species.

Shaggy and Fred don't know what to talk about in Mystery Begins as well as WNSD. They're aren't as close as say, Shaggy and Daphne who have spent a lot of time together. I think the gang really is brought together by mysteries (2002 Scooby Doo movie and Zombie Island) and they don't share a lot of common interests outside of that. School, water activities and dances are some commonalities they do share though. Or even as close as Shaggy and Velma.

How can you hate Looney Tunes and want to completely change them? They've remained popular for over 80 years for a reason.

I've never read that arc. I just meant that they can work because they complete each other. I just used Spidey and Mary Jane as an example. True, but there is comedy in the picture of the two of them becoming web-slinging crime-fighters. I once came up with an idea for a story where Lamont Cranston dies leaving Shaggy (someone he never met) his estate and a mysterious ring. The ring would gift Shaggy all of Cranston's mind clouding powers as the Shadow. I figured Velma would fill the role once occupied by Margo Lane. My logic was simple. Cranston knew what evil lurks in the hearts of men because he once gave in to it. Shaggy knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men because he's always getting chased by people who gave in to the evil.

I wouldn't say it necessarily highlighted Shaggy's intelligence, especially considering he hunches turned out wrong, but it does re-emphasize that when his friends are in real danger or a monster is doing something directly contrary to Shaggy's interests, he can summon the false courage to actively fight against them. I also laughed at Velma asking Scooby what he does when he wants to not search for clues - if I were here I would've done the exact opposite, considering everything Shaggy and Scooby usually do to evade the monsters usually puts them in their direct way, lol. He was only wrong because it always has to be Velma who solves the mystery. Also despite being wrong he came very close to being right. He may be lazy, goofy and cowardly but he's not stupid.

....Basically they complete each other. Kind of like the dynamic between Spider-man and Mary Jane. Spidey can be VERY uptight but being around fun-loving partygirl MJ has a stabilizing influence on him. So what we want is a Shaggy and Velma version of 'Amazing Spider-Man Renew Your Vows'? I've never read that arc. I just meant that they can work because they complete each other. I just used Spidey and Mary Jane as an example.
