i'd like to see scooby time travel personally. I could see that working. If done right, it could be a blast.

Because time travel movies always have no plot holes.

Time travel will be too confusing unless they visit established HB characters like the Flinstones or the Jetsons similar to the comics. It'd be a headache to try and see your own future/past because of the verb tense when talking about something important. Not to mention the schematics about what goes into a chronoskimmer besides the engine. You've got a temporal sequencer, time probes and the chrono-computur which generates a time tunnel and each time tunnel can only last for so long before it collapses, and sometimes time travel will collapse with someone in it, then there's that return to the past function which is highly dangerous and should not be used unless there is no choice otherwise a certain virus keeps getting stronger with each reset.

Unless they are going to have a story like H.G. Wells' The Time Machine time-travel stories normally have more holes than my socks. The temptation is to make the act of time travel as the central device rather than simply a mechanism for telling a story. Once you strip the shiny technobabble away you normally don't have much left. If they do then the time travel part has to be no more prominent that the Mystery Machine.

^Which is why the only good use of time travel was in Code Lyoko and they explained the dangers behind it, XANA would get stronger if they did, but they'd have to explain their disappearances since they didn't "just go to the infirmary" with nonsense happening about oh...if you knew about this creep you'd think we were insane" situations.

Sort of implies it is a LEGO film, the paragraph is ambiguous

I'm glad we may be getting more info, but I hope it's not a LEGO film. Thanks for sharing ScoobyDooMaster!

I didn't think it was a LEGO film but the paragraph needed to have been proofread before publication All they needed was a full stop, semicolon at least, to make things clear. Wonder if they've gone for 3D rendered models.

As someone in the LEGO community, we have our films planned up to 2020 I doubt there's any surprises. Anyway if the LEGO group arent were going to have a surprise movie coming out in two years, it wouldn't be based on one of their least popular themes.
