CGI?! Where did you get that info? A guess I guess, but probably on the right lines.

Every animated movie is CGI these days I'm sure we'll continue to get 2D stuff for DTV and the shows though.

Someone did ask Tony on Twitter if it will be hand drawn or CGI on twitter. He hasn't answered.
Also, can't get over how many people think this is a live action reboot. They need to read the full articles.
I was talking to a fan of an actress and she was all excited because...OMG Sophie Turner would be the perfect Daphne Blake. And i respond like...Yeah she would...problem is this is animation..Not live action.
And when you search Scooby or S.C.O.O.B on twitter a whole bunch more are assuming live action. Whoops.

I'd honestly much pefer a different writer, who captures the spirit of Ken and Ruby rather then bringing someone who we've had before. Also he wrote M.I. and the characters were awful in that.

Honestly I'm highly doubtful it's going to be CGI. If it was they probably would be promoting it at the event they just had. As "see Hanna Barbera characters in CGI" quite frankly is a selling point.
Not to mention that is in the hands of a director who mostly works in 2D and has worked on a whole lot of Hanna Barbera 2d movies for the last several years of his life. If it was CGI shouldn't it be in the hands of someone who has more experience there?

While we've been over this a lot here, to the less up-to-date it's still confusing. We had the announcement of a animated movie with writer X first. Then we had the announcement of a live action reboot with writer Y. Then the animated movie got a date and still had the same writer X. No mention at all of writer Y. Which is personally why I still think both are separate projects being developed at the same time but others think they just changed their mind. Those who aren't as interested as some of us are, probably maybe only read one or two news bits a long the way and aren't very clear about what is or isn't happening.

Wait, there has been an announcement of a live action reboot? Maybe i just misread you're post.
Also, Tony mostly get's praise for the relationships in Mystery Incorporated on twitter. But i am able to give him constructive criticism. Why have a 65 year old make out with Daphne in the KISS movie. LOL. That's just gross. haha.

I've convinced myself that Mystery Inc's being portrayed as college-aged in that movie, and KISS is in their 1970's prime, which would put them in their 20's. It's more palatable that way. Also, if they're supposed to be superheros, then they're pretty much ageless.

Yes there has been a live action movie announcement 2 years ago Did that project not turn into this? Was it ever even said the film was going to be live action? I just thought people assumed it would be because it was getting a theatrical release.

Also, Tony mostly get's praise for the relationships in Mystery Incorporated on twitter. Surly that's because people are more likely to praise then send hate? For example: I wouldn't bother screaming at Justin Bebier on Twitter just because I didn't like a song, though I happily praised Carly Rae Jepsen's new song. I really don't like the characters in M.I. but that doesn't mean I'm going to give him a hard time on Twitter.

Yeah, ive seen nothing about another live action movie.
And while i side with you Supperson..Don't send hate. But a lot of people do on twitter. haha. Were a few of the good ones.
I'm more concerned about the writer then Tony the director though. The writer hardly has any credits to his name.

That could be a good thing, I haven't seen any writer capture the feel of the original shows yet and perhaps they finally found one.

Tony just responded to a few tweets.
Spike Brandt is helping out a little on S.C.O.O.B. Also in response to my funny tweet he said "Cartoon Characters Dont Age". So maybe that's a hint they will be teenagers in S.C.O.O.B.
