Have you guys noticed there's no Spooky Tales sets coming out for the fall?

I noticed too. But if WHV's plan is to release 2 Spooky Tales sets a year (2012: Around the World/Holiday Chills and Thrills, 2013: Run for Your 'Rife!/Ruh-Roh Robot!, 2014: For the Love of Snack/Field of Screams), then they're covered for this year.

I've lost track...do we know anymore titles of any unreleased potential specials from LinkedIn or some such?

"Scooby-Doo! Beach Beastie" is supposed to come out this year according to Jason Wyatt's LinkedIn.

Ah, thanks
I could see them saving that one for a warmer season opposed to releasing it in the fall/winter at this point.

I still think they switched Beastie/Frankencreepy. We are far into WB's press releases, i doubt there's anything else coming out this year we don't know about.
That being said we should be hearing rounds of 2015's plans. Since apparently WWE crossover 2 is for 2016, 2015 must clearly be planned out already. We still have the Beastie and that Freak Out. So either that's both 2015's movies and no news of specials or one movie and one special.
Also for those keeping score about beyond just Scooby: There was technically 3 in 2012, but that was counting the Laff-a-lympics one that we know got rechristend to serve as a season set online (major betting odds this year's Flintstone Kids release is on the exact same path, plus do note those 5 episodes smurfs sets they released now have had season 2 eliminated from there names) so i'd be banking we see Smurfs in 2015 and the second Laff-a-lympics in 2016 unless they speed it up

So additional thoughts now.
So with Moon Monster and Freak Out seemingly being our 2015 movies. Beastie is probably a Spooky Tales release for 2015.
Now my question is will Scooby's specials be toned down to one a year? This year Tom and Jerry is getting one, so perhaps they switched the model that the Scooby samplers are going to be one without a special and one with a special per year? (Not accounting if they have another added like Spooky Games). Let's also not rule out if that WWE Flintstones project does well enough, the Flintstones could be taking up some yearly production time two, as of right now it looks like we may get 2 Scooby Movies, 1 Scooby special, 1 Tom and Jerry movie and 1 Tom and Jerry special per year.
Also i did slip on the fact the other smurf project got pushed back to 2016. Meaning WB will have two things to tie into that year. So i hope they speed that part up to more than one a year.

Well it's been a while since I examinated in this thread, so why not? On the old horse trail.
So yes, clearly last year we had only one 13 Spooky Tales but we also did get a Scooby season set. We still have zero leaks on a 2016 special be it Scooby or not.
The major elephant in the room is clearly still the Olympics. We are getting closer to when WB will be announcing July and August releases. So if it's Laff-a-lympics the announcement shouldn't be too far off. If it's not, then we still have many more months to wait it out. Whether it be a season set of a 13 Spooky Tales. In general we are in the middle of a change up one way or another. So our old patterns may be only "stalled" or been "replaced". It's just too early to tell.

If it's the laff-a-lympics yes I'd expect we'd get a press release this month or next. Since it wouldn't be released during an olympic year and not tie-in to the event time. That just wouldn't make any bit of sense lol.
If it's another season set or spooky tales, (or whatever could "count") then it could be any month.

The major stalling on Beach Beastie doesn't make the future of the short movies look great. Then again it seems like Wild West had been stalled for several years.

I anticipate for another 13 Spooky Tales set with a new special. Hope there's an announcement soon!

In general we are in the middle of a change up one way or another. So our old patterns may be only "stalled" or been "replaced". It's just too early to tell. Been out of the Scooby loop for a few months, and since checking in today I've read a couple comments like this one. Has there been some reorganization at Warner or something, or some change in their products/marketing approach? I was surprised there wasn't much new in the New Releases section since I last checked in last year. Wasn't sure if there was some business change that's being worked through before they put more in the pipeline, or if maybe they're shifting their focus from 'traditional' products like Animated DTV Movie/Series releases to Legos/Comics/this HB Universe, etc.? I guess there's a good bit of Scooby activity, just not the kind of stuff I usually get into. Mark
