Does anyone else here like this series?
I loved both the original and the "Outer Space" seasons! They had some great songs and plots!
I also love the live-action film! I used to watch it all the time, probably more than Scooby-Doo!
What were your favorite episodes? Your favorite songs? Favorite characters?
My favorite episodes of the original series are probably "Midas Mix-Up", "X Marks The Spot", "Never Mind A Mastermind", "Spy School Spoof", and "Don't Count On A Countess". Of course, they were all great and wonderful episodes!
My favorite songs from the original group are probably "Clock On The Wall", "Roadrunner", "You've Come A Long Way Baby", "Stop, Look, Listen", and "The Time To Love". The songs are all excellent and I love listening to them when I have the chance!
From what I can remember, I really loved the episodes "All Hail Goddess Melody" and "warrior Women Of Amazonia" from the Outer Space series. The episodes certainly were...different, but still very enjoyable!
I absolutely love the voices of the women who did the songs, although they were anonymous so we don't know who they are. It's a shame that these songs were shortened so much and had sound effects and voices over them, because they certainly are excellent and top quality. If they were ever to be released in their entirety and in high quality, I would be one very happy person.
My favorites are (although the have no official names) "Bubble Bubble We're In Trouble", "Love Song Of The Universe", "You Need Love", and the short 20-second song that plays at the end of "All Hail Goddess Melody". One thing that I didn't like about this season was that there weren't actual chase scenes where these songs were used in their entirety. They were instead used as a way for The Pussycats to escape trouble.
My favorite characters in this series were Alexandra, Melody, and Alexander. They were hilarious and I loved their antics!
Overall, this was a great series and it's a shame it was never revived or picked up for a third season. Sometimes, I feel like I prefer The Pussycats over Scooby-Doo.
