Yep, Scrappy's hyperactive. Maybe he's eating to much sugar and is always sugarhigh...

Doo, you're right that if they wanted to make him annoying they succeeded. littleb, I think you could be right.

I like Daphne. I like all of the characters, even Scrappy though he is not my favorite.

I have to admit, that I'm quite used to this condition. I'm eating quite much candy (but strangely (and fortunately) don't gain weight from that), the best are always the one with the most sugar in them. And if I overdo it I'm... sugarhigh. Good condition to make sport.

Daphne's not that bad she's just the sterotype popular girl

I think Daphne's 'remembered' for being a lot more prissy and annoying than she actually was as I go back and re-watch things. She definitely wasn't like one of the Bratz dolls or anything! I have noticed she seems to be the character that changes the most over the years though. I guess because she was supposed to be the attractive one, and people's idea of what's attractive changes all the time. For instance in all the live-action films, I thought she looked the least like the original cartoon character, though I guess both girls would be considered attractive for their time. Just different from the 1960's. Scrappy however is just as annoying as I remembered! He always reminded me of the also fairly unpopular Bat-Mite from around the same time. I guess they thought kids would find them cute & funny or something. Mark

you have a great point, Mark. To be honest I like her a little better in Scooby Doo Where are you. Though she is a little more...prissy it's not the other extreme where if she has her purse she's 'Super Girl'

I kinda forgot about the whole 'purse' thing. Like in "There's No Creature Like Snow Creature" from What's New Scooby-Doo, where she pulls out her hair dryer to melt the snow creature. She never did anything like that in Scooby-Doo Where Are You? that I can recall.
I don't think the whole backstory of her being from a wealthy family came up until later on either, unless I'm forgetting something.

Hmm She was annoying in the older Scooby-Doo Where Are you? episodes. However, the newer movies and What's New Scooby-Doo series have improved her character. I like it better when she's the kick butt Daph, not the oh no she got caught again Daph.

I agree with Shaggyfan! I didn't like that in Where Are You Daphne's only role was "Oh No, She's caught again, I guess we have to save her".

Yep. Though I don't actually have anything against clumsy Daphne, I think tough Daphne is way better. I generally like the character the way they had them in WNSD better, Fred being kinda dumb, Daphne kick-ass (am I allowed to write that word?) and... well, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby haven't really had any minor changes, I guess.

I'm not saying I don't like WNSD daph but the whole being able to do anything with her purse seems like too, much I don't mind that she can take care of herself thing, Zombie Island, Cyber Chase, Samari, just not swinging by dental floss and redesigning a room with contents of a purse that couldn't hold much more than a Nintendo DS
