ahkyahnan pointed out the issue with the special effects. I noticed that stuff too. Did you notice when Fred and Daphne were trapped on the boat and it was filling with water that the water level changed from scene to scene? Sometimes it was up to their chest and sometimes it was up to their neck. It changed when they panned in and out I think.

could someone clear this up for me, was the lighthouse keeper actually at the party or didnt he get there in time. I mean was the monster at the party him or the real one and if it was him how did he manage take a chair to the head and catch Daphne's uncle with his tongue, I mean i took what he said as he went there but that woulnt add up, would it?

I thought it was the real Lake Monster too. I'd have to go back though and rewatch what he said about going to the party. Can't recall that clearly.
Here was my question. Why would the possessed Velma be going to the pink museum boat? Looking for clues as to where the moonstones might've been hid or something?

Advertising at it's best. You know how there are supposed to be subliminal images in movies and on ads? Well, this one is in Curse of the Lake Monster. When you look at this attached picture, under Velma's left armpit, people are saying it looks like a male body part. In reality, it is just Daphne's knee. Do you think it was placed like that on purpose or do you think it was just how it ended up? www.movieweb.com/news/scooby-doo-curse-of-the-lake-monster-photo-contains-hidden-sexual-contentAttachments:

Personally, I think it looks more like a chocolate ice cream cone. I don't think it was intentional though, since this was a moving action shot. A few frames before and after would look totally different.
On a related note, I saw this at Target last night!! Haven't picked it up yet though.

I don't think it was intentional either...but it will make people buy the movie now. I want to know who these people are that pick this stuff out and why they have enough time to look for this stuff in movies.

yeah...I really don't see the controversy on this one. If I wasn't told what to look for, I wouldn't have seen anything suspect. But hey, if it sells a few extra copies, more power to it.

Yeah, really. How do they find this stuff? Sit there and click the Still button over and over for the whole movie looking frame by frame for stuff like this? I mean this one's really a stretch to me. Hope they watched at least once just for the enjoyment of the movie itself.
