LOL! I'm not even gonna touch that one. It looks like a knee{a weird looking knee, mind you}. I think that guy was blowing some smoke.

Agreed!
Off topic a bit, but I hope going forward that the people producing these live action Scooby's pay more attention to what the animated folks are doing on Phantosaur and SD:MI.
CotLM probably would've been even better if so much of its thunder hadn't already been stolen so to speak from Camp Scare & SD:MI. Shaggy & Velma romance, gang going off to Daphnes family resort (Freds old camp) for summer jobs, encountering the Lake Monster (Fishman), etc.
I liked CotLM, but it kinda felt several times throughout like I'd seen it before.

I just got this on blu-ray/dvd and it was the last one in the store. It's nice to see the Scooby Gang selling out because as long as it's successful they'll keep making more. I enjoyed the movie and thought it was fun! I liked how they worked in alot of the classic series gags and the actors pulled them off great! I thought that the romances were cute. After Fred and Daphne's being alluded to for 40+ years it was nice to see some character development. I really enjoyed the music video where they traded each others outfits-funny! as well as the extras on the dvd; gag reel and behind the scenes. You can tell they have alot of fun making the Scooby movies for us. I hope they keep making more!

Advertising at it's best. You know how there are supposed to be subliminal images in movies and on ads? Well, this one is in Curse of the Lake Monster. When you look at this attached picture, under Velma's left armpit, people are saying it looks like a male body part. In reality, it is just Daphne's knee. Do you think it was placed like that on purpose or do you think it was just how it ended up? www.movieweb.com/news/scooby-doo-curse-of-the-lake-monster-photo-contains-hidden-sexual-contentI think it is Daphne's knee.

I just noticed another cool subtle nod to the original show in this movie. When the gang first goes to the lighthouse there is a No Trespassing sign on the wall by the stairs. It says "Erie Point Township Ordinance No. 1969" As we all know, Scooby Doo Where Are You first came out in 1969. I think the bus in Mystery Begins is also Coolsville School District 1969. I love it when they put stuff like that in the movies and shows! :-)

i don;t really like live action films about cartoons characters because they rarely capture what makes the toons so great. Curse of the Lake Monster is yet another that imo would have been better animated than live action.

The plot was very good, and, as a movie, quite better than The Mystery Begins.

I love the music video at the end! It was so cute and Fred and Velma roller skating was awesome.

I'll admit I didn't like this one as much as the first one because there was too less of a mystery and too much drama and not enough Shaggy/Scooby friendship. I did like the end though kinda when Shaggy caught Scooby in his arms, I thought "yeah that's the way it should be"

The trippy and totally goofy song montage at the end ruined it for me.

Is this another prequel to the two live action movies in theaters like the mystery begin one was? Still have not seen any of the 4. I just want to know if they are all in the same live action continuity?
Like is it..
Mystery Begins Curse of lake monster 1 2
Is that the order?

There really isn't a continuity errors between any of them (at the top of my head).
