There isn't really any multiquote function that I know of unfortunately, other than literally copying and pasting in each quote to a single post. Sorry about that!
I like the idea of having the Hex Girls at the party for entertainment!
As for Madelyn, I think that's about it besides what was in the movie! ShaphneSince2002 had just brought her in, so there hasn't been much time for character development.
The gang is in Vicksburg, Mississippi. They're looking for the treasure because some (at this point in the RP) mysterious people have been dressing up as various spooks to frighten the gang away, and the gang has realized the treasure is a central part of the mystery they have on their hands. Marybelle, Dixie, Creola, Nora, Nili are all original characters that Scoobnick has brought in as friends of Dixie Doo (Scooby's cousin from the New Scooby-Doo Mysteries episode "Showboat Scooby"). Scoobnick also forgot to mention he is playing Cruny, another Civil War ghost dog and friend of Dixie's.

The group is currently at a holiday party on Missy's showboat. Missy is Dixie's(Scooby's cousin) best friend, she's lending a claw on solving the mystery. The gang is trying to recover valuables hidden at the fort during the Civil War, one of those people- Marybelle, who is now a ghost- is helping them by tracking down the things she hid. They've found about half of her stuff. Some of Marybelle's friends, such as Creola, Nora and Nili, are pitching in too. In short the gang doesn't want for allies. Who's Marybelle and co, and why is the gang looking for treasure (aka start of the mystery)? Also, sounds interesting! If it's a Civil War fort, are they in a specific state or just the mysteriously generic "Deep South"?
Marybelle is a Great Dane ghost who lived in Vicksburg during the Civil War, and before the Union captured the city, she hid her family valuables in areas around the city to keep them safe. Vicksburg is in Mississippi, although they have spent some time in Louisiana too, as part of the treasure hunt. Why are they looking for Marybelle's stuff? Because-1 the valuables are worth a ton of money, thanks to interest over the years, and 2- Marybelle has promised each of the gang a reward if they find all her things. They've found half so far, so they already have had some success. Creola Nora and Nili are childhood friends of Marybelle and are helping out as well, not just because they are friends with her, but because they are nice spirits |

And having the Hex Girls show up as entertainment is a great idea. They could view the party as a gig to earn some cash, only to recognize Scooby and the gang

Also I tried copy/pasting each quote into a single post before and it came out weird. But not a big issue for me.
Thanks, figured tying into them being a band doing some gig/entertainment would be the easiest way to introduce them.
Well that'll make it easier then for playing Madelyn, might need to watch the movie again soon~ish to try and get her voice right.
