Just your biggest unpopular opinion about any piece of Scooby Media. Perhaps an acclaimed episode that you hate or a despised movie that you love. Should get some good discussions going.
I'll start by saying that I think "A Tiki Scare is No Fair" is one of the greatest Scooby episodes of all time, thanks to an amazing setting and plethora of memorable antics that make it beyond fun-filled.
Another would be that I feel Mystery Incorporated is severely overrated. I do still enjoy the show and some episodes are genuinely incredible, thanks to the darker tone but it just doesn't match up to the classics, in my eyes. The melodramatic relationships and serialised storylines were very hit and miss, for me.

Boy am I going to get roasted for these but here it goes lol:
I actually LOVED Return to Zombie island. The fact that the monsters were fake made so much sense to me. Because in the last movie the cat creatures were clearly defeated and having the monsters be real would’ve almost insinuated that there defeats were in vain. Usually the monster in Scooby Doo dresses up as some old legend in the past. The fact that the monster dressed up as a legend from an ACTUAL Scooby movie was genius to me. I also really enjoyed the twist with the cat creatures coming out at the end. I found it genuinely funny. Also people that are casual fans actually prefer the sequel to the original.
I gave a tutoring class made up of 12-13 year olds and for their movie night I showed the two movies back to back. 90% preferred the sequel and even said the animation was better in Return to Zombie island. I think a lot of the hate is due to the fact that in general people tend to not like sequels in general and hold the original to extremely high standards. But casual fans I’ve noticed aren’t bothered by the movie at all. It’s mostly the hardcore fans that hate it with a passion or the older generation that grew up with the original Zombie island.
I was shocked to see that on Amazon Return to Zombie island scored a 4.5 out of 5 majority of people loved it. It’s just unfortunately hated amongst hardcore Scooby fans. I’ve showed my friends the movie and they are all entertained. They either like it or find it just as good as the original.
So yeah while it’s not my favorite Scooby movie (Abracadabra and Camp Scare are my favorites) I truly enjoyed the movie and watched it numerous times.
I also agree that SDMI is extremely overrated I think The Scooby-Doo Show is miles better on so many levels.
*hides from the inevitable tomatoes being hurled my way*

I am going to go with that I think that Abracadabra Doo is probably one of the worst movies of them all. I could see where the movie was going from the very beginning and it was not interesting
Perhaps another one is that Hassle in the Castle is not one of the worst of Where are You but is below average for me

Goblin King is one of the best Scooby movies. I think Aloha is one of the very best movies, which is probably an equally unpopular one.

Oh, I have several. -SDMI is one of my personal favorite versions of Scooby, but I almost hate talking about it with other Scooby fans. People who love it tend to act like it's superior to every other Scooby ever made, and people who hate it/think it's overrated don't give it credit for its amazing overarching plot. (Also, it has my least favorite version of Daphne, but that's a whole other post) -Be Cool would be one of the best-loved Scooby series if it weren't for the art style turning so many people off from it. It makes me sad. -The Stage Fright opening song (On The Case) is WAY better than It's Terror Time Again. -I LOVE The Mystery Begins and Daphne and Velma (2018). -Kate Melton and Sarah Jeffery are criminally underrated Daphnes. -Kate Micucci isn't a bad Velma, people are just overly nostalgic. -Nick Palatas is a GREAT Shaggy and if they didn't wanna hire the normal cast for Scoob, they should have hired Nick. -Scoobynatural and Kiss Rock and Roll Mystery would have been PERFECT specials if it hadn’t been for the subplots about grown men (one of them edging towards elderly and who is also A Real Person) preying on a teenage girl (perhaps not an Unpopular take but its still a spicy hot take) -Scrappy doesn't seem to be unpopular here, so I won't reiterate that I like him, but for this thread I'll say I'm a big Scooby Dum fan. -The gang's designs in Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get A Clue are extremely cute and might be some of my favorites. -Speaking of Get A Clue, it's not THAT bad. Its problem is that it doesn't really feel like a Scooby show. But I don't hate it. -Scooby becoming more and more literate over the years doesn’t really bug me that much and I think the amount of coherency he has should depend on what’s funniest in that moment. Him being able to talk in full sentences is funny in a lot of these newer things -If you call Marcie "Hot Dog Water", we can't be friends (joking... or am i? ) -I didn't hate Return to Zombie Island. It was like... fine -Witch's Ghost is boring to me, like I said in the other thread

I did not know about that, and especially the Kiss one is very disturbing

I did not know about that, and especially the Kiss one is very disturbing A member of Kiss, Starchild, actively flirts back at Daphne when she flirts with him, and then kisses her at the end of the movie. It's EXTREMELY weird and just about ruins the whole movie for me, which is upsetting, because the rest of the movie is extremely cool. I need to make a Dott Cut where I just remove all flirting.

Watching the KISS movie my educational volunteering training was screamiong SAFEGUARDING! SAFEGUARDIN! It was very creepy and I would say very inapprpriate. Scoobynatural kind of got away with it as this was a bit of a childhood infatuation, Daphne was oblivious/shut it down/it was clearly done for comic effect.

Yeah, Scoobynatural was still weird and uncomfy WRT that,, but not nearly as bad. The Kiss movie is just straight up, like you said, creepy and inappropriate.
