Also Reluctant Werewolf holds the privilege of being the first feature-length Scooby-Doo I EVER saw so I have a lot of nostalgia for it. I watch for the characters and the gags, and the plot (the whole kidnapping and return to normal I still think is a valid idea) with the race as an OK background to it all.

To be fair, I don't think we really know for sure if everything returned to normal, given the movie ended with Dracula following Shaggy back to his house without us knowing what happened after.

candy1026 , as soon as the massive Scrappy collection goes on sale on Vudu, I'm buying it and binge-watching the whole thing. Knowing that it gets better by season 5 will make it worth it.

As for Reluctant Werewolf, I think if Scrappy is canon in Mystery Incorporated, then we can safely assume that Shaggy got changed back eventually.

Most of my opinions (when it comes to Scooby, anyway) aren't really "unpopular" per se, as a lot of the fan community(ies) tend to be rather split anyway. I think Mystery Incorporated is a bad show, but there's plenty of Scooby fans out there that agree (and disagree)... but not enough to really make it feel "unpopular." Liking Scrappy is perhaps a bit more into the unpopular territory, but again, here there seem to be plenty of Scrappy lovers/defenders.
I never really warmed up to Matthew Lillard's Shaggy voice. I thought his first few DTVs (and the live action films) were significantly better than his more recent stuff, and even then, I'd put just about every other Shaggy over him. Of course, I like consistency though too, so, on the other hand, I'm glad they've kept one VO for such a long time now.
Although I loved the overwhelming majority of them, I thought WNSD's decision to use pre-existing chase songs, rather than make new ones (a la SD:WAY season 2) was poor. Probably created a lot of headaches when securing the rights for new streaming platforms and DVD/Blu-ray releases, too.
I actually really loved the concept of Get a Clue, but agree with the general consensus against the art style, new voices, and music. Because the show was so short, we never really got a pay off for the overall plot, though, so all-in-all I usually skip it. But, purely concept wise, I thought they had a great idea.
My favorite piece of Scooby media is perhaps the First Frights video game - even though the character designs are a little wacky, and I don't like the film(s) it's based off of. It's really fun to play, and even though I've 100% it several times, I still always come back and play through again. Plus, it's one of only a few video games I've "double dipped" on: owning it for Wii and PS2. I just really, really enjoy it.
Well, ok, perhaps the most unpopular - I prefer the Superstars 10/Turner Scooby films to the Mook DTVs. (Boo Brothers, Ghoul School, Reluctant Werewolf, and Arabian Nights over Zombie Island, Witch's Ghost, Alien Invaders, Cyberchase) They're all great, but I just find the previous films more classic and familiar, even though I grew up with all of them. Casey Kasem, Don Messick, and the less anime cell artwork just looks more in-line with classic Scooby. Again, I love them all, though. I just slightly prefer the other films myself.

Other than disliking the majority of post revival Scooby (including SDMI), my opinions on the Scooby franchise are mostly split.

well i start to say: gobling king is one of the best scooby doo movies and one of my favorites for its different plot and story in a magical world that they explore from top to bottom and for its many adventures that happen there, it is at least a very memorable and funny movie and also creepy. I do not hate "Shaggy and scooby doo get a clue" on the contrary I find it very funny, I do not mind their designs, there are other worse. It is not one of the best series because it goes against scooby doo but I find it very funny and I love scooby's personality in the series since he is more fired up and with more prominence than ever. Shaggy and Scooby's personality changes in that series were interesting, although of course I prefer the originals, but still I love the series. "Be cool" seems to me to be an incredible series in all aspects such as stories, teachings, writing and jokes. one of the best and I am not bothered by its designs that without being my favorites manage that I do not care to enjoy one of the most underrated series of scooby doo. I also think that the classic episodes like: Foul Play in Funland, Mine Your Own Business, Watt a Shocking Ghost. They are not one of the best scooby doo episodes to be so overrated and remembered and to have their monsters honored so often. There are much better Episodes in those classic series that deserve more attention. and their monsters are never honored and they always repeat the same monsters in the tributes they do and that tires me a bit. We always see Captain Cuptler Charlie the robot but never the monster from "Don't Fool With a Phantom" for example and that was one of the most memorable monsters for me and an exceptional episode much better than others more remembered. from the series

i don't hate."return to zombie island" is one of the worst scooby doo movies and it doesn't measure up to the original movie, I agree on that. but I think it was not so bad and it was a nice movie enjoyable, although certainly unnecessary. I would say it was good ... I also think that "moon monster madness" is a great creepy movie with a different and interesting idea and it would be in my 10 favorites. I also hate how they are portraying Velma if they think it's a joke to we it seems like an annoying joke. Lego movies have a great story and plot but the animation ruins it all. I don't like Lego at all. My eyes bleed to see scooby doo in I see them as if they are lifeless and meaningless plastic dolls and I do not like their hair change jokes. that animation for me it is the worst scooby animation to date.but they are moderately enjoyable films thanks to their good history. of having been made in normal animation they would have been much superior. and to finish I think the quality of scooby doo is on the ground. Since 2015 the quality of the films has been going down a lot, only gourmet Ghost, Shaggy's Showdown and batman are saved, which were great movies. But those movies are not as good as the ones they made in the early 2010s. Happy Halloween is also saved a bit and it was quite nice but it has quite a few flaws like the loss of the film in the race all the time. "The sword and the scoob" seemed me like a really bad movie, one of the worst.

ups i forgot. "the new scooby doo movies" is my second favorite scooby doo series. It is far superior to the original "scooby doo where are you" and more fun with good jokes and better retractions of daphne and fred. "the scooby doo show" is also far superior to the original series. I definitely love the original series it's very special, but I have many others that I think are better.

The Goblin King is an amazing movie if you can get past the first ten minutes.

I like TNSDM as much as the next person but I just cannot admit to any of it being superior to WAY or even it's immediate successor - TSDS. That's a pretty great unpopular opinion then haha. (at least for me) Edit* - I do love how the First season has the same tone and animation style as WAY, though.

I like TNSDM more than SD:WAY. I prefer the hour format, and a lot of the episodes are classics! (Batman, Globetrotters, Three Stooges, etc.)

I love the new scooby doo movies because of its duration, its development has longer mysteries. and it's much more comical than "scooby doo where are you" andnThey gave Fred and Daphne a little better writing than in the original, they had more prominence and participated more actively in the episodes generally. "the scooby doo show" and "where are you" these two have a darker tone which I also love about them. "The scooby doo show" is my third favorite series. It is always fighting with "the new scooby doo movies" the two are tied between number two and three, always fighting it is difficult for me to decide haha. but I can say with certainty that "scooby doo where are you" would be like my favorite 6 or 7 I have many more before the original.

I just find the show very inconsistent. Do you like Season 2 of the Movies as much as Season 1?
