AJ: ...Hopefully there’s a love triangle involved. [Laughs] And I hope not. Seriously haven't they learnt anything from season 1 of SD:MI?

Did anyone listen to this? The guy actually started wondering/questioning if Freddie Prinze Jr. would voice Fred instead of Frank Welker, since Freddie Prinze Jr. works for WWE. I'm sure that won't happen!!

I'm sure that won't happen!! He who pays the piper calls the tune. If WWE roll out enough cash I'm sure it could be arranged.

I think Freddie Prinze wants the best for the show and realizes it would be better for Frank to voice the character.

That would be horrible of they let Freddie Prince Jr. Voice Fred instead of Frank Welker!!! I would not be happy about that!! How long has FPJ worked for WWE?? What does he do for them?

Mr Prinze will want what is best for his career, WWE will want to push it's product as hard as it can. If a WWE person voicing Fred is what they think will help do that then that is what they will get. WWE willl only be interested in getting maximum bang for their buck for this film, they have no vested interest in the franchise than trying to ensure this film doesn't bomb out. The latter is the only restraining factor. If this was the last Scooby Doo film ever made then what would WWE care?

I don't want to see it happen either! He started working for WWE in July 2008, then left Feburary 2009. He later returned to WWE in October 2010. He still works there today. He is in their writing staff as part of their creative team, and he is a producer and director.

He almost didn't do the live-action movies because he was afraid it wouldn't stay true to the cartoon, but SMG talked him into it. Considering Welker has voiced Fred in everything animated except for A Pup, I just can't see Prinze insisting he does.

I could see him voicing another character, just like Linda C voices Hotdog Water, to keep the connection between the two franchises. heck, maybe he could voice an animated version of himself?

Yea, he might voice a different character. It would be too weird if he voiced himself! We've seen the live-action version of Fred. Will we see the animated version of Freddie Prinze Jr.?

He is in their writing staff as part of their creative team, and he is a producer and director. What on earth do they need a writing staff for?
