They are re-releasing 4 Pup Named SD episodes on DVD on September 27th. I wish they would stop releasing old things and release new things like The Scooby Doo Show Season 2 or the rest of the New SD Movies episodes.

I wonder why they keep re-releasing episodes. I can't see how they would make more money off of episodes that are already out on DVD.

I guess they expect a lot of impulse buys for new generations of young children maybe, that don't already have the sets.
You know, another thing that occurs to me just now, is that maybe they have to keep reissuing old stuff these days just to keep it on store shelves.
Walmart for example generally only stocks new stuff on the shelf, with only a couple older titles at most. You can't find the complete SDWAY?, WNSD?, or APNSD season sets in their stores, at least not around here.
So maybe to keep 'old' stuff on the shelves for buyers to find, they have to keep reissuing the same titles in various formats so they'll be considered "new" to stores that keep shrinking their DVD floor space.
That's why I like Target & FYE. They stock more older items.

Looks like episodes 1-16 are being featured on the DVD.

Weird, on Amazon the cover art for the second one is the exact same as the first one.
