According to Variety, MeTV is starting a spin-off channel (they already have a bunch) called MeTV Toons, a joint venture between Wiegel Broadcasting and Warner Bros. Discovery! variety.com/2024/tv/news/metv-toons-network-launch-weigel-broadcasting-warner-bros-discovery-1235988290/And it looks like they may be airing some classic Scooby-Doo content on it as well! The article does state "Warner Bros. Discovery’s Cartoon Network companion Boomerang, which also runs old Looney Tunes, “The Jetsons,” “The Flintstones,” “Scooby-Doo” and Popeye shorts, also runs some more recent, post-2000 cartoon episodes", including the newer WB Scooby-Doo shows (except for "Shaggy and Scooby-Doo Get a Clue", of course). The only post-2000 animated material MeTV has aired are the 2003 Looney Tunes shorts by the "What's New, Scooby-Doo?" crew taking that same kind of "same dog, new tricks" approach ("Whizzard of OW!", "Hare and Loathing in Las Vegas", "Cock a Doodle Duel", "My Generation G-G-Gap", etc.), and Boomerang only started airing those this past New Year's Eve as part of a "last episodes" marathon before adding them to the regular Looney Tunes rotation. I'm hoping Xfinity New England picks this up, since they've never carried Boomerang at all. Any thoughts?

Looks like the article was deleted unfortunately. There was a TVLine article on this as well that was also deleted. Not sure what happened, but maybe they weren't ready to make the announcement yet?
