#5 - Scooby's Night with a Frozen Fright
I'm not saying this mystery actually makes a lick of sense but it is a really enjoyable scheme with a couple of suspects and constant misdirects, from the writers. Wayne's Parka being tore up and his disappearance was neat plus the fishing boat with the ice machine was a pretty paramount clue.
#4 - A Clue for Scooby-Doo
Again, a few suspects get introduced early on and they really build up the mystery before heading out to exploring the graveyard of ships. Just about everything was explained at the end, including the ghost powered yacht vanishing and the glowing seaweed. Also, Cutler faking his death for a get rich scheme was pretty left field. I remember being shocked to discover that it was REALLY cutler, on first watch.
#3 - Don't Fool with a Phantom
This is a really neat mystery and I still believe that Johnny Sands was in cahoots with Roger Stevens to this day. I've always thought the Wax Phantom was either back in the museum searching for the dropped airline ticket OR waiting for Johnny to join him once some time had passed, then they would both head to South America with the money. Anyway, Grisby would get the blame for everything had the plan gone through.
#2 - Which Witch is Which
I love this mystery. It's so simple and has been replicated a fair few times in Scooby media, throughout the years. They scared off the whole town so they could continually hunt the river for the sunken armoured car containing god knows how much cash. There's no real suspects this time but some excellent clues like the metal tipped pole and winch. It actually all made sense for once.
#1 - A Night of Fright is No Delight
The perfect plot for a Scooby episode! This time there's 1M$ to be gained and a handful of suspects staying in the mansion. The writing on the mirror, tricked out FEED organ and dummies of the 'deceased' cousins in the catacombs were really ominous clues. Creeps and Crawls weren't messing around and the scheme wasn't remotely convoluted for once - Scare off all the heirs and steal the 1M$. Everyone in the episode had a motive and could've been behind the ruse.
