Flying Phantom Ship 1969

I just watched an old animated Japanese film and thought it was worth mentioning here. The storylines are completely different, but given the casual relationship between Toei and Hanna Barbera, it seems worthy of note that that Flying Phantom Ship could've easily influenced some of the stylistic choices of this Scooby episode. The visuals have clear parallels and it's interesting to see something created around the same time period in another country.
