My guess this is either a working title, a mini series or a Halloween special.
And I hope they do not do anything preschool related for Scooby considering Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry are also doing this.
They already have an adult spin-off in the works so unless they are going the SpongeBob route with three shows at once what will the general audience get apart from the DTV series if WB is just focusing on preschool and adult content

Snipple sounds way too close to Snapple.

Snipple sounds way too close to Snapple. Heh, yeah. But Snipple Animation turns out REALLY high-quality animation. Their episodes of "Scooby-Doo and Guess Who" are a lot more fluid and cartoony than the episodes animated by the Korean studios (like Digital eMation). And their work on "Looney Tunes Cartoons," "Green Eggs and Ham" and the "Animaniacs" reboot looks fantastic as well; very fluid and full. The episodes of "Wabbit"/"New Looney Tunes" Snipple worked on were also noticeably more fluid than the episodes animated by Rough Draft Korea and Yearim Productions... most of the time.

Snipple did some of the Looney Tunes sitcom show? No, that was by Rough Drarft Korea and Yearim Productions, though the first season also had Toon City involved, and they did the best animation for the series, compared to Rough Draft and Yearim's subpar animation. The "Super Rabbit" episode was also animated by Digital eMation. But I still feel they should've gone with Lotto Animation for that show, as "New Mexico, Old Monster" proved they CAN animate the Looney Tunes pretty well.

A Snipple employee posted on her facebook account about the latest projects so I asked in the comments if a Scooby series was in the works that needed animators. I received a reply from another employee saying: “Actually there is, but it is done in Paperless. And it is not a series but a DTV.😊” and I guess she is talking about Trick or Treat. Hence I assume that is the DTV, also, since this is the first time Snipple animates a ScoobY DTV and since the Guess Who art is shown in the picture and they DID work on the show, do you think we could be Guess Who animation for the next DTVs? Wouldn’t surprise me since the next DTVs are gonna be mainly crossovers

Makes sense this will be a special or a DTV as Guess Who? still has half a season to be aired so you would think they would announce the next series once the current season of Guess Who? comes closer to it's finale.

Is this going to be on The CW or HBO Max? We don't know yet. Nothing's been announced except the title.

Probably a DTV or special - either way I'm excited, but considering the title I'm guessing we probably won't be seeing it until October 2022...

A listing for this (now titled, Scooby-Doo, Trick or Treat) has just popped up on Amazon France with a release date of October 26. It's not a repeat of Happy Halloween, as a different director is listed (Audie Harrison). This would align with past patterns of us getting trailers/announcements for DTVs 11 weeks before the release date. www.amazon.fr/Scooby-Doo-Trick-Treat-Audie-Harrison/dp/B0B7858QF9/

Seems to be official. An Australian DVD site lists it too, with the following description: Mystery Inc. has cracked the case to top all cases! They've tracked down Coco Diablo, the head of the notorious costume crime syndicate that colludes The Black Knight, Space Kook and the Ghost Diver. With Coco and her kitty in prison, Mystery Inc. thinks that they can finally enjoy a break. Wrong! Suddenly, menacing doppelganger ghosts of the Scooby crew and favorite classic foes show up in Coolsville to threaten Halloween. Now it's up to the meddling kids - and their unlikely new partner Coco - to unmask the latest scoundrel and save Halloween! For Shaggy and Scooby-Doo, with trick-or-treating on the line - this time it's personal!www.dvdland.com.au/products/Trick-Or-Treat-Scooby%252dDoo.html
