Nowhere to Hyde has a great villian and song but Where's the Crew is one of the better episodes of Season One of the Scooby-Doo Show?

Nowhere to Hyde wins in a landslide for me
Nowhere to Hyde is one of the greatest episodes of all time in my opinion. Top ten to be precise. This is one that I have talked about at length before so I’ll save a full on explanation for a later date because I have something planned…
As for Where’s the Crew, it is one of the weakest episodes of season 1 of the Scooby Doo Show for me, maybe of the entire series. I loved the designs of the octopus and kelp monsters but everything else felt rather uninspired. I enjoy it, and it is better than the Ghost that Sacked the Quarterback. But I do think I enjoy A Bum Steer, Mamba Wamba, and Fiesta Host more than this and I already count those as the other weaker episodes of season 1

Interesting matchup! I would also have to pick "Nowhere to Hyde" for how iconic the setting and villain are. I liked Where's the Crew? quite a bit for its dark tone, but it doesn't surpass "Nowhere to Hyde" for me.

Both these episodes have grown on me immensely, over the past year or so. Overall I would have to go with Nowhere to Hyde as it's just much more or a memorable classic!
There's a lot going on in "Crew" and I really love the underwater segments but half of the episode seems to just be the gang getting locked into loads of rooms aboard the ship. The monsters could've been better too. "Hyde" is a straightforward haunted house tale with some neat twists and turns. It'll never be one of my favourites but each time I watch it, I tend to enjoy it a little more.

I kinda just feel like Creepy Cruise just outdid this one with the boat scenes and it doesn’t live up to A Clue For Scooby Doo in the diving scenes if that makes sense And I am very happy that you are enjoying Nowhere to Hyde more and more!
