Premiered in Italy a few days ago. It was definitely original in terms of storyline, unfortunately poorly executed. The pacing was just very off and the story was just a mess. The secondary characters were just unpleasant and random. Jason as well was very annoying and could have done without his journal shtick, obnoxious af. Scooby was the one that saved the episode for me with him taking over the diary for the trap and his passion for shoes understandably turning out to be just him chewing on them at the end. Some scenes just flew by, a trip to The Amazon should have been a movie rather than an episode cuz this format did not work for the plot’s best interest at all.
If you want the episode in Italian, send me a message. I’ll provide you with a link tomorrow

I think scoobylover summed it up pretty well. While I wasn't quite as annoyed with the journal, Jason was a weaker guest compared to others. Scooby was definitely the star of this episode.

I wasn't super annoyed with the journal thing, but it certainly wasn't the best episode ever either. I agree that Scooby was the star of this episode. It was interesting how they acknowledged Fred and Daphne potentially liking each other. The Snakeman Monster seemed to me like a recolored version of the Snake Demon from The Scooby and Scrappy-Doo Show. The jungle noises at the beginning of the episode seemed to be archived audio from "Hassle in the Castle." Also, I was shocked to see a reference to SDMI in this (the coffee cup said Chen's Coffee). Overall, while not the most amazing episode, it was certainly decent and enjoyable to watch.

Has an English-dubbed version aired in the U.S. yet?

I did discover on an outside source that this episode aired in Canada last January. However, I never got to see it, and I do live in Canada.
It's kind of amazing that new episodes air in Canada before they do in the U.S.

It's kind of amazing that new episodes air in Canada before they do in the U.S. Seems like this has kind of become a pattern for recent series, for whatever reason. I'm not sure why they don't promote these better/air them in a more timely way in the US.

Unfortunately another side effect of the thankfully soon deader than dirt Warner Bros vs Turner in fighting. Nearly all of WBA's shows have done significantly well overseas and had significantly less problems getting on air than in their home country. They're just continuing on like all is well...because for them it kinda is.
The major stall right now is more of stalling for time on Warner's part. But overseas distributors have significantly less reason to go along with that compared to the current channels and streaming services which are answering directly to Warner Bros now. But at least when they do open the gate they shouldn't be tripped on their way out.
