THIS WAS EVERYTHING. Best episode of the whole series yet. Original, actually funny, a lot of self-referencing and just an amazing formula for an episode. First of all, Morgan Freeman was a GREAT addiction, his narration throughout the episode was great and even tho hes probably been the guest star that talked the most I thought this was also the most gang-focused episode because of how they shot a whole documentary on them and how they solve mysteries. The animation was superior to any other episodes and the plot was just refreshing. Absolutely loved it, as well as the Captain Cutler reference and all the other easter eggs. 10/10 episodes I wish it was always like this with this show!

Nice; another celebrity I actually recognize!
I liked Morgan interviewing the gang about their catchphrases, even Fred's new "Hold the phone!" Yet he didn't get to Scooby-Doo, who would have "Rikes!" or "Ruh-roh!" as an exclamation in the vein as those other phrases. The deconstruction of a typical Scooby-Doo mystery was fun, too. And I enjoyed Scooby pointing out Fred's other catchphrases: "Well gang, it looks like we have a real mystery on our hands!" and the classic "Let's split up and look for clues."
The flashback to Velma losing a contact lens was hilarious!
Nice to see the ghost actually be someone the gang never met before, and the callback to Captain Cutler being their first instance. Oooh, nice Judy Jetson poster! Quite a few Hanna-Barbera in-jokes and easter eggs in this series, yet they still don't use that H-B logo as seen on the "Wacky Races" reboot and "Yabba Dabba Dinosaurs" at the end of the credits...

This was a really good episode. I don't know if I'd go as far as to say it's the best, but it was good. Out of the new 13, this was one of the better ones. As always, Morgan Freeman did a fantastic job.

This was an amazing episode! My second favorite of the series (my fave is still the Hex Girls one). The documentary style of the episode was great and Morgan Freeman narrating everything provided for a lot of meta-analysis of the gang from an outsider's perspective. Liked the monster design and the creepy setting too. Honestly though, why am I even complimenting anything else, Morgan Freeman totally made this episode haha. 10/10 episode absolutely

Poor Shaggy, his IQ always getting dissed, every series. He's proven a bunch of times he can be pretty smart just in different ways.
I wish they'd make a joke about Shaggy and Scooby being the main characters on a mystery solving show. This would have been the perfect opportunity because its true.
