Well, back to the slow pace episodes. There was barely any dialogue and it was a bland episode. I liked the steamboat addiction as an extra setting below the surface. Kacey was cute but the plot was boring. I think they changed outfits like a billion times which I appreciated but in general it was a meh episode. And enough with the unnecessarily long running gags 😠Also I like the new title cards.

Heh, the horse masks those two actors in the play were wearing at the rehearsal remind me of that popular "meme horse mask." I enjoyed when the actors plunked the masks onto Scooby and Shaggy, and Scooby would whinny wearing it, reminding me of this goofy old cosplay pic of mine... Did someone at WB Animation see that photo I posted online or something? Are stage lights supposed to blow up when they come crashing down? Or is it part of the "Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated" influence with that show's love of explosions? I'm calling it; it's the producer that's dressing up as the ghost, especially since he mentioned his background in Hollywood! LOL at the "Fifty-Two Pickup" bit! I love that joke in animation, ever since I saw it in "Arthur Babysits" (also in the book version.) Why was I not surprised to hear the Flintstones factory whistle sound effect at one point, since this episode involved hot sauce? I enjoyed how the audience thought the ghost's appearance and capture was all part of the show. And yep, I called it! I was correct in figuring out the ghost's true identity again, complete with explaining his Hollywood background that included creating latex masks! These mysteries are getting too easy for me...

The was a better than average episode. I liked the design, for a singular color ghost. I am a big country music fan, so Kacey was a really cool guest star. I liked the river boat setting of this episode and the 52 pick-up joke. While this episode wasn't my favorite, I have no real complaints aside from it just not being super memorable.

This was a very "meh" episode for me. Kacey didn't seem very into her role, many of the jokes fell flat (i.e. Fred forgetting his lines, the horse people saying the same thing at the same time, etc.) and too much of the episode was spent just running around instead of there being an actual mystery. Not the worst episode, but this episode is very unmemorable.
