Recurring flaws among the gang.

Anyone else notice that each member of the gang seems to have their own specific for that is more noticeable than any of their other faults.

Fred has his rather boring personality.

Daphne tends to be quite klutzy.

Velma never reacts well to being proven wrong.

Finally Shaggy and Scooby seem to be perpetually afflicted by k all kinds of sheer bad luck.

I think they also acquired a ton more recurring flaws in the newer shows.

Like is the 13 Ghosts movie, Fred's flaw was kinda like he had no purpose. And I feel they dumbed him down. He's actually smarter and they made him stupid.

Velma is too determined to disprove the supernatural whereas she seemed to accept it at the end of Zombie Island.

And I also I feel they dumbed down Shaggy and Scooby. Sure they are the comic relief and have more appeal than the other characters but, they too had there "aha" moments during mysteries. I don't feel that's the case much anymore ☹️

And yes I totally agree Daphne is made as a klutz although it feels like that's been less in the newer shows but the older ones... Yup definitely klutzy lol

Really? I feel like these current films Daph has returned to her damsel in distress status which is such a step down from her What's New Scooby Doo? Version, I loved her character in that series. It feels like they really are showing the characters flaws more. For example, I don't remember Fred being so obsessed with the mystery machine yet here we ard, hell they took up times 10 in Scoob. In the older shows Fred let Shaggy take the mystery machine for a while on their own. Now I feel they'd have to fight Fred in order to even drive it, you saw how he reacted to Daph trying to drive it to get her drivers license LOL.

Than Velma Yah, boy did they destroy her character, I loved her character during the Zombie Islands to Cyber Space films. That Velma accepted that monsters can be real at times, in these new films or series she seems to have trouble and even faints at the thought of being wrong.

I'm curious what fans of Fred feel about his character during these times.

Any ways that's my opinion on the gang.
