I heard a saying once about how a person's bedroom is a reflection of their character. I noticed in these first 9 episodes of Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated we get to see everybody's bedroom. So, what do you think? Well, besides the color matching.
It stands out to me that Velma has skulls all over her vanity plus candles on either side. Considering they are placed in an area in which she views herself, I think it reflects her mortality somehow. Hmm, she seems to be left out a lot like in the Hex girls episode and in the pic with her mom... and the horse. I wonder if the skulls are a reminder that she means something, despite feeling non-existent like the dead. Velma has an impact on things, she can solve mysteries, have close friends, get a boyfriend, etc.
I think this definitely shows Shaggy has pent up energy. Since it's slightly messy it looks as if Shaggy is not quite sure what direction to go in life. Seems he likes music with the big record collection and guitar - de does work at the radio station? Also think he's creative with how he put the blocks to support that collection. I like seeing a prominent flag that isn't American hanging from his roof. Huh, I wonder if that shadowed thing towards the left with the bone could be Scooby's sleeping area?
Fred's room is nice and orderly. You can see he has spaces for different functions like the drafting station for traps/plans behind him. Then of course you gotta love he tests out his traps in his room. I also note he has binoculars. (I will love this show forever if they do a nod to Hitchcok's movie Rear Window.) Gotta wonder how much "innocent" peaking he does with those?
It's almost so odd to see Daphne with such a big empty room. I can only guess she's on a search for things/memories to fill it up with. She can also be very comfortable at the idea of emptiness. Some do say it brings clarity.
Heh, what a first post... I think you can also tell I wanted to do psychology at one point.
