Which of the Scooby Doo and Scrappy Doo series is your favorite? Do you like the first which features the whole gang and Scrappy. The Richie Rich era with three 7 minute shorts with real monsters. The crime solving Fearless Detective Agency in the Puppy Hour series with Yabba Doo. The All New show that added a confident reporter Daphne with half Joe mini mysteries. Or finally the New Scooby Doo Mysteries, featuring a funky theme song and guest appearance full episodes with Fred and Velma.

Not really a whole lot to choose from here. The shorts and Yabba Doo bits were infamously horrible, and New Scooby-Doo/Scrappy Doo and New Scooby Doo Mysteries were way too experimental and hit-and-miss for their own good. That leaves Scooby Doo & Scrappy Doo as the only decently balanced show Scrappy was featured in unfortunately.

I'd rank them: 1. New Scooby Doo Mysteries- The best points of this series is the amazing theme song first. It also features the gang being the Scooby Doo Detective Agnecy and was much closer to the original. Scrappy was better as he helped Daphne find clues. The highlight is the full length episodes that feature Fred and Velma. They are all really great episodes especially: Nutcracker, Hassle, and Astronauts. The other episodes are alright and bogged down by pop culture parodies and spies 2. Scooby Doo & Scrappy Doo 1979- It was essentially the Scooby Doo Show plus Scrappy. The villains and mysteries were not on the Where Are You level and pretty average. But it was still full length mysteries with the full gamg despite the Lennie Weinerb Scrappy 3. New Scooby Doo Scrappy Doo Show- This Show was just a group of very average mini mysteries. The addition of Daphne, reporter background, and a return to mystery solving were good. But the shorter run time resulted in not as high quality mysteries. 4. Scooby Doo Scrappy Doo Puppy Hour- This Show was somewhat similar to the Richie Rich shorts except one third of the episodes were Westerns with Yabba Doo, Scrappy, and Deputy Dusty. These were meh. The best were the third of episodes were Scooby, Scrappy, and Shaggy worked for the Fearless Detective Agency and solved crimes for Shaggy's uncle. These were fun and it was good to see Shaggy as a leader. 5. Richie Rich Scooby Doo shorts- Pretty much classic cartoon adventure shorts with Shaggy, Scooby, and Scrappy. The low point of Scooby's career with the only episodes worth watching are the rare supernatural ones with the classic mystery feel
