Written by IVAN COHEN Art by RANDY ELLIOTT Cover by SCOTT GROSS When Velma is forced to stay awake in a hospital bed for 24 hours, Scooby and the rest of Mystery Incorporated do their best to keep their resident super-sleuth occupied. But will their hijinks distract them from solving an even greater mystery? On sale OCTOBER 11 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US • RATED E The cover looks really interesting, I just hope the story lives up to it.

Having looked at the preview then I see a few story options 1. Velma suffers hallucinations as a result of what puts her in hospital. She has to 'solve the mystery' in the hallucinations in order to recover. This is reminiscent of the Deep Space 9 episode Distant Voices 2. Velma hallucinates the whole mystery out sf sheer mind-numbing boredom from being stuck in a hospital 3. She solves a real mystery from just what she can see out of her hospital window. Reminiscent of Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window 4. Fred and Daphne concoct a mystery to keep Velma amused. If I had a choice I'd prefer #1 or #3, but I expect they'll opt for #4, possibly #3 and #4

Well that was a massive let down. I think my subscription to this comic ends here. The worst part is that the backup story, taken from a previous run of this title is better written and illustrated. Think I'll cancel Team Up while I'm at it is little better than the current SDWAY comic.

Yeah these ones let me down consistently, the images of the gang are often traced from the same 20 odd stock poses and used even when it doesn't fit the scene. I understand sticking to the character model but the amount of copy and pasting is ridiculous. Team up has the exact same thing going on too. So lazy.

Other comics of similar size runs don't do this so I don't see why it is done here.
