Would you like to see a Scooby-Doo game with a dark tone?

I would personally love to see one! Maybe not Arkham level dark but at least as dark as "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan". I'd love to see a game where you solve these dark mysteries as Scooby and occasionally switch to the others. It be interesting to see if we could have a darker game without fighting in it and how it would be received.

It would be really cool! Scooby Apocalypse, imo, would make an awesome and very dark video game!!

Ahhh but what do you mean by a game? For fun, frolics and for the fact that I've just completed a 5 days' course on systems engineering/requirements let's toss about some ideas of what you would want to see in such a game.
The first thing is what kind of game. FPS-style? Top-down isometric RPG? Poimt-and-click style mystery game?

Point and click would be fun. The old Indiana Jones Lucas Arts games have a Scooby feel already.

I was thinking some sort of Arkham (at least the defective parts) inspired Scooby based game

well I would like to see a serious game, with lots of locations from the various series thrown in. Dixies Showboat. Hollywood, Vince's tower, and so on.

As long as it's not too dark, I think it would be really cool.
I sometimes really enjoy when the monsters turn out to be real.

Sounds good to me.
Aside from Night of 100 Frights and Unmasked, there haven't been a lot of quality Scooby games sadly.
