The only other mystery show I've seen is House of Anubis. (I binged watched the first two seasons the past few days to keep my mind of these exams! ) I'd recommend the first season, but you'll have to suffer through the acting in the pilot episode. I thought the overarching mystery was actually done quite well, especially for a live action children's show. The third season was awful from what I remember and the second season kind of drags on.

Devious Maids and Desperate Housewives. 2 thrilling comedy/mystery series both with the same style.. a bit explicit if we consider House of Anubis as a start.

^Goosebumps can fit book and tv, the series is quite good. "Viewer/Reader beware...you're in for a scare" (creepy laugh/organ music following)

Believe it or not The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo holds up well. It's three or four seasons from Nickelodeon.

I changend my mind. I've just started How To Get Away With Murder. I just finished second season's first episode (like right now) and let me tell ya, I've never seen so many twist in a tv series. In this episode there were about 10 in the last minutes.. It's soo good.

The babysitters club had a mystery series as a spin off. There might have been a few episodes of the tv series.
