Shaggy looks like Conan Aquaman. I can definitely tell the art's Jim Lee though. Looks pretty good though, overall.

Previews are up.
And here's a great article by tvguide.
Also, from JD. Let's us know the preview is missing first page. So obviously gives away something big not to have it in preview.

Ohhhhh now you can read the text... Interesting, very interesting. Can't see a way of putting in spoiler marks to hide things so I'll just let others read the text.

Dynomutt on bottom of page 2? (can't claim he credit for this, one of the comments on TV guide noticed the similarities).
"Rogers may be a doofus, but he's a gentle, good-hearted doofus..." Velma Dinkley

"Velma, the nerdy one; Fred, the hunky one; Daphne, the reckless adventurer; and Shaggy, the... Medicated... One. " *facepalm*Would any of you describe the gang like that? Who on earth calls Fred the hunky one? Or thought Daphne had a taste for danger in the original? When they said they were using the original character's personalities I didn't realize original meant the 00's movie :/ I quite like the art style they have in the series, with the exceptions of Fred and Shaggy everything from the backgrounds to the other characters look great! I did like Shaggy's hair being blond again, it's often reduced to brown these days so it's nice to see his golden locks brought back. I don't like the addition of the long beard, I could've stomached the mustache but the fuzzy beard is too much. I also thought his brown eyes seemed to much of a contrast to his light golden hair, green or hazel possibly would've worked better. He was written fine. I don't think Fred looks attractive at all and it appears by the description that "he's the hunky one" (I want to break things ). He didn't have anything to do really except complain to Daphne, if anyone from the original needs a personality its Fred yet all the others seem to get one. I liked the inclusion of Velma's skirts, I'm like the only teenage girl who seems to wear skirts still and I'm allways happy to see someone in pop culture wearing one. I loved how Velma was written, after her hideous portrayal in M.I. this was a wonderful addition. Daphne was a bit too snarky for my taste, yes in the original she would bicker but she was never deeply angry about it. I think it would've been a better set up if she was Velma's clumsy assistant or something. Scooby was written beautifully and I'd love to see this brought into animation. The writing was good too and the Fred/Daphne argument was reminiscent of that episode where they fought in the Scooby Movies and the setting was similar to Zombie Island.

Dynomutt on bottom of page 2? (can't claim he credit for this, one of the comments on TV guide noticed the similarities). It has to be him, it's a grey dog with the D and all! Finally, effort to include characters who've been featured before! Do you think we'll see the Hex Girls, Flim-Flam or Vincent briefly join the gang at one point? Scrappy is already confirmed but it seems like he's a villain :/

The writing was good too and the Fred/Daphne argument was reminiscent of that episode where they fought in the Scooby Movies and the setting was similar to Zombie Island. There's only a few pages but there's a lot of plot detail there, I do like what I see both writing and story. Fred and Daphne arguing, well that's what people do when they're stressed and getting relegated to the knitting channel is enough to stress anyone. While doing a bit more web searching I came across a comment that Velma can also see what comes from Scooby's emojigoggles which makes sense given what Shaggy and Velma say in their bits. It also implies that Shaggy's backstory is a lot more complex that is usually assumed for him, and that it involves Velma, though in what capacity it is unclear. Roll on the 25th!

Everything's perfect blabla. Can't wait to read more of course but I just have to say that
SHAGGY IS HOT AF (and I'm not adding the explicit parts)

I've only just noticed that Fred has a tattoo on one of his arms.

Freds one quote about always being with Daphne. Def think that's in character.
And I do think Fred is more than just the Hunky and Shaggy more than just the medicated one. But reading the previews I do think there are more to them then said in that interview.

It's kinda tiring hearing about Shaggy being the medicated one. I hope we get beyond that parody view of him, because that's just a specific view that some people get from him when they're too ignorant to know any different.
