I noticed a new Scooby-Doo DVD release listed on Amazon (UK) been released on 26th October 2015, which sounds like the next movie: Scooby-Doo And Kiss - Rock 'n' Roll Mystery [DVD]The next movie was mentioned as featuring Kiss, so the title sounds right. |

Do these whipper snappers these days even know what kiss is? I think they do because of all the KISS marketing. There are KISS Hello Kitties that I have seen everywhere! |

I remember them with all the moral panic around heavy metal/D&D when I was growing up. I thought they'd done other Scooby Doo episodes before (did't they appear in one of the WNSD episodes?).

Well there it is. So this is our 2nd 2015 movie.
And Yes I do assume whipper snappers (by that I mean also younger than me at 23) know who Kiss is. They were in the last Macy's parade. And have had references in other forms. While i admit some might only have a basic knowledge unless they listened to a song and liked it. But I've never bought young people won't ever care about old stuff, since I've been on enough sites to see that in some cases the people complaining just don't know how to properly "sell" the old things to young people.
We have a wide variety of ages on this site. Scooby Doo started life as a late 60s cartoon. Wb knows how to market it to it's contemporary audience and it's modern audience. I'd wager very few things can't be won over to new generations all the same.
But enough of that bring on more Kiss and Scooby Doo! Coolsville Rock City!
