I've just been thinking about all the nostalgia the the games like night of 100 frights and unmasked gave me and also thinking about how it's a pity we don't get new games like that anymore. I'm not a game designer nor do I know any personally but I was just thinking how cool it would be if we got another game like the two best ones (Mystery mayhem was good too but the in opinion the two platformers were the best, because they really captured the essence and feel of the original series and what scooby doo was all about. The games that followed were ok, like whos watching who and first frights, but by spooky swamp they seemed to not even be trying anymore and then they stopped making them altogether. I believe that sequels of these great games could very possibly be made or completely new games that play out like traditional mario type platformers that we all love. I also think that if a really great game like this were to be made, it would bring scooby back to the top of the market, so to speak. Anyway, I think if enough fans really want something like this there are ways to make it happen by having a voice on sites like this. So, now my question to everyone is what you you want to see in a new game such as this, what levels and such would you want to make an appearence, and what do you think, as fans, is the best way to help it happen?

If done in the style of "Night Of 100 Frights", I'd be interested in a new Scooby game! That one was very well-done and seemed like total fan-service for people who loved the original series. Heck, if they could get BJ Ward to do Velma again like they do with Scott Innes for Scooby/Shaggy, I'd buy it in an instant!

I would really love it if a new Scooby platform game was made. I, personally, would want it to be in the gameplay style of Night of 100 Frights and I would honestly like to see the entire gang take a more active role in the gameplay. Of course I would want to play most of the game as Scooby but I think it would be nice to have to switch off between characters for certain tasks. Like maybe there would be a portion of the game that would require you to build a trap for whoever you're trying to catch and you'd have to take control of Fred to do it.
I think I'd also like to see a classic story line if there was a new game, not just a compilation of classic monsters to go against. Maybe have the game set up as a couple of different scenarios/episodes instead of one huge linear title.

I'd prefer a more 'point and click' puzzle solving game, but with some 'day of the tentacle' sillyness thrown in.
