A really nice episode, and the Harlem Globetrotters were the perfect addition - and let's not forget the return of Redbeard's Ghost! Though he was better colored...

The Globetrotters were about the only positive about the episode, really hate it when (spoilers) the villain isn't identified or is some random person not even in the episode!

It takes away from the mystery sure, but sometimes it creates better atmosphere, when you have no idea who the villain actually it. It certainly worked to this episodes favor.

I like this one. The Harlem Globetrotters are fun, and it was interesting to see them recycle a ghost disguise again, in this case Redbeard, something I don't believe they'd do again outside of the classic monsters (Dracula, Wolfman etc...), the original run.
Also Scooby and the gang trapped in a strange mansion or house by themselves, is always a win in my book.

This was my least favorite of the New Movies.

I always love the Globetrotters and the setting with the mansion and ship was fun. But the plot and monster were just alright

Go Away Ghost Ship was better than this episode. They should've thought of another villain for this episode.

Very middle of the road episode in this series for me. The positives are that I feel this is one of the most memorable episodes and even if it might be their weakest episode, the Globetrotters are great as guest stars. Should've come up with different pirates for this episode though. Good but not one of the best

I love the Harlem Globetrotters and they’re definitely my favorite guests to appear in the new Scooby-Doo movies, tho this was my least favorite of the episodes with them in it. I really didn’t like the villains and how they got so close tp the gang from the first interaction. It felt like it was detectives going after painted up crooks rather than a scooby-doo mystery. Also Redbeard is one of my least favorite villains of all time

Plot: The mystery started nicely with a cool setting and a creepy old man, but after the ghosts appeared, it quickly became a comedy. I'm ok with that for this one because of my nostalgia and the laughs, but the actual mystery is really meh. 6/10 Set Up: A cool start with a scary, dark swamp and a mysterious, empty hotel. The daylight ruins the rest of the episode, though. 6/10 Monster(s): It was lazy of them to re-use the ghost pirates from the SDWAY episode with flour on them. Also, Redbeard must have hired the world's most useless henchmen, but I have to admit that I liked how goofy they were in the end. They weren't scary, but they were entertaining.6/10
BONUS Guest Stars: I am a huge basketball fan, so I loved the Harlem Globetrotters. I really enjoyed the scenes where they played basketball (even if they violated all the rules of the game lol) and they were funny too. 10/10 Nostalgia Boost: +1. The Globetrotters were my favorite guests, and I loved the goofiness of this episode. Today, I find it childish, but I still have a good time (it's like a guilty pleasure of mine).
Final Score: 8/10
