So as we know Professor Pericles killed quite a few people. I really wished he hadn't of killed off Cassidy (Angel) and Hotdog Water (Marcie). They were both very strong characters with huge potential in the series, in fact Cassidy was my favorite character. Marcie was intelligent, resourceful , and reminded me quite a lot of Velma. I never really cared for Ed Machine though. Then again he didn't have many appearances in the series, maybe if I had seen more of him I maybe would've cared for him a bit more.

I liked Cassidy and Hotdog Water. They were two of the better characters in the series and their deaths did leave me saddened. At least they all came back in the end, right?

I wish they hadn't killed as many people off though , even if they came back in the end, it's a bit dark for a kids show.

I'd have to say Cassidy or HDW.
Of course, everyone killed by Pericles was alive again at the end of "Come Undone," so I guess it doesn't really matter.

I wouldn't have my children watching this show, not only because of the deaths, but because of the inappropriate relationship aspect as well. As good as it is, the show just isn't for the younger audience. The classics were all light-hearted humor that anyone could enjoy. I don't recall much of that in Mystery Incorporated. It's such a shame even children's shows nowadays are full of double meanings and inappropriate things.

Well my son (then 8-9) watched most of the SD:MI shows and the relationship stuff just passed between his ears without apparently engaging his brain. I didn't see anything I would say inappropriate, badly written and shoe-horned in without any regard for the ongoing story yes but I didn't see anything I would say was out of order for the rating of the show. However I would agree that all the relationships stuff does is to get in the way of the mystery/story which is what the younger kids want to see os I would say more unnecessary than inappropriate.

That's true, unnecessary is the better word to describe what I was thinking. The story would have been just fine without the focus on relationships and drama it causes.

Yeah , I wish they would've steered away from that. 13 Ghosts was able to have a story line without all that relationship and drama.

one could consider Mi as an attempt at a darker more mature scooby. that has its pluses and minuses, as we've all hashed out during the series run.
