It doesn't need a third season though, it's all wrapped up and done. I'd prefer to never have to deal with that timeline again. So much was wrong with the show. It seems "Be Cool" will be yet another reboot, but I could be wrong and that might be a continuation of the "Mystery Incorporated" timeline.

I miss it a lot. I'm glad it ended because I was always worried it would run to long and eventually just get bad. I still really love the idea of having a continuity and a larger story at play. I think I will still love every incarnation of Scooby Doo simply because it is scooby doo but this one will always be up there for me just because of the scale of it.
I'm worried it will be hard for me to get into the new series if it doesn't have continuity!

People seem to forget that "The 13 Ghosts Of Scooby Doo" was the first Scooby series to feature a continuous plot. It's a shame that it was cancelled so quickly, since there was still so much story left to tell with that one. They never even caught all thirteen ghosts. Anyway, Hanna-Barbera was pretty good with their continuity, as each Scooby series continued well into the next and ended at "13 Ghosts". Warner Brothers doesn't seem to like continuing with their timelines, as they have already split their series up into several different universes. The only ones to even loosely tie into the original canon were the first four DTV movies, and even then so much was changed that it didn't make any sense that it would follow "The 13 Ghosts".

I do forget that "13 ghosts of Scooby Doo" had the overall larger story and I think that is usually do to the fact that it was never finished.

yes, 13 ghosts would have captured all the ghosts in the second season. so for my part i consider 13 ghosts incomplete.

I'll miss this show I guess. The long , relationship focused parts in the show was kind of annoying though. Overall , I enjoyed it. The last three episodes of each season were the best in my opinion , because they really sum most of it up in just those three episodes. It doesn't seem like long ago though , time does really fly.

It was entertaining for what it was. It had some genuinely good plots and episodes, but it was really bogged down by the constant Fraphne and OOC moments. I did enjoy it though. I know right? I'm not against romance every now and than but they really pushed it here and in my opinion at times really dragged down the series. Let's not forget about that odd love triangle between Velma / Shaggy / Scooby drama in the first season, they really shouldn't have gone there. Man that was a major turn off for many fans of the first season, some almost didn't want to give it a second chance due to that. Other than the forced romance it had a lot of good moments, second season is really when it began to kick off again my opinion. One of my favorite episodes was when the Blue Falcon came into the picture. The final was pretty cool but I hated how it erased every thing at the end. I've come to realize, every Scooby series always seems to have only two seasons. Wonder why 13 Ghosts never got a second season though? Sucks, that was one of my favorite Scooby shows I don't get it, Get a Clue got two seasons. I at least wish they gave 13 Ghosts an actual series final or a movie to finish it. Did the writers really feel that was the right place to end it? Oh well, that's another topic. Over all, this was a fun show. Not one of my favorites due to the romance plots but pretty good.

I agree about Shelma. IF it were executed better, I might have been more open to the idea, same with Fraphne. I didn't care for the Blue Falcon episode, as I've never been fond of the Dynomutt series. It's awesome that he made a guest appearance though, I wish The Pussycats had done the same, they were absent from the "Mystery Solvers Competition" episode. I also agree about "13 Ghosts", it really deserved better. The company (ABC?) really screwed up by ending it prematurely. Hanna-Barbera should have gone for a movie that ended the show. Sealing the deal by officially announcing Shaphne as canon would have been a major plus as well, considering how close the two were by then! Mystery Incorporated may be on the bottom on my Scooby list for various reasons, but it was an enjoyable experience and I was sad when it ended.
