Well the last time we had a full gang comedy act we got a Pup Named Scooby Doo, remember that? Only this time teen yearsXD I don't know how that'd work. Ask for Daph in 13 Ghosts, I'd have to re watch, I don't remember many comical moments from her. I love "A Pup Named Scooby Doo"! I personally believe "13 Ghosts" was the high point of the series and the best the franchise has ever had to offer. I'd highly recommend watching it again! You'll be surprised at how comedic Daphne can be while still being the more "mature" leader of the group! She had many great moments! See, Pup Named Scooby Doo was one of my least favorites. The songs and dancing felt really out of place and weird, Fred was really out of character too. That's why I just can't see Daph / Fred / Velma any more comical type series. I've watched 13 Ghosts of Scooby - Doo tons of times, it's one of my favorites. I just can't remember too many funny crazy situations with her, she had her funny moments though I agree.

Daphne was free to be more comdeic when she was alone with Shaggy. Had Velma and Fred been in the series, she wouldn't have been able to be as fun and carefree as she was in "13 Ghosts". When separated from the two, she can be a great source of comedy, seen in many episodes throughout the classic shows.

Fred and Velma pressure her into being more like them , other than herself , and sometimes harsh on Scooby And Shaggy. Her comedy can really be shown in "When You Witch Upon a Star" along with the rest of the "13 Ghosts" gang. I honestly prefer a Daphne based on "13 Ghosts." She had all of the traits Daphne should she was ; funny , but mature when needed , a strong leader , but not too strict , also she didn't have that valley-girl love sick puppy persona they give her in the newer movies and especially in SDMI.

The sing and dancing was pretty strange. Fred was younger though to keep that in mind, so that could maybe have had an impact on his character.

I am very worried about the path that has been taken since MI of these graphic designs, I hope they can go back for something like What's New Scooby Doo! I know that there is a new and more important audience out there, children. But there is nothing wrong with the old concept designs... =/

scrappy is probably never going to be brought back in any form. as for the timeline, one couuld say scooby has been through multiopple timelines, theres no one canon timeline.

It is just annoying for old viewers. I'm 45 and I don't find it annoying. As long as you have internal consistency within the particular universe/timeline then there shouldn't be a problem. I prefer having all the members of the gang there as you get good interaction between them (especially in the DTV movies).

Scrappy could come back if the creators of the series after Be cool are fans of the 80s series and want to revive it as a permanent timeline and series and hate everything after 13 ghosts. yes, in theory. but i highly doubt scrappy will be mentioned,. heck they didnt even mention his name is MI, when they showed his statue in the museuem.
