well after watching the first few episodes i've gotten used the new character designs, and i'm really liking the series overall. problem is the narrow list of suspects. i'm not suggesed having a cased closed type of setup where there 10 different suspects all with various alibis, but hacving 3-4 possible suspect uis imo a fair number.

What are some of your criticisms then doobert? job is looking for constructive criticism Haha. Well, I wouldn't say I'm actively "looking" for constructive criticism, because I don't want to cause an avalanche here, plus I'm REALLY far into writing the series, so it is what it is pretty much at this point - BUT, that said, everyone's thoughts and comments have been respectful and interesting on this forum and I have no problem occasionally discussing certain elements of the show if it seems productive to do so. Great to hear that One question... Could you bring back the puppets they're brilliant and I think it would be cool if daphne used them for more episodes, like, it would be a part of her persona/personality

I would hate the puppets, if they are in more than one episode per season.

I would hate the puppets, if they are in more than one episode per season. Hahaha No, but not like the central daphne addiction-thing that she has in each episode, just 1-2 comedy scenes/joke for each episode (where she requires it), so it should be carefully used, haha, +maybe one complete episode (like you said, and add the scene on most of the episodes). And the other thing would be, the Hex Girls, which I still need for this show

So, yes, at least the new series is true to Scooby Doo in spirit. The look works well enough.
I'll hope once this one runs it's course, which I do hope will be a few years, so Scooby gets some Stability, that we can get a classic look series again.
As long as the Movies are all in either the Classic, WNSD, New Movie or even SDMI looks, i'll be happy to get that.
I see more rehashing of old things, which happened alot in WNSD. Fireball McPhane became a baseball ghost. I get it, it's tribute. Go deep though, go deep.
Still, I'll just keep hoping after the KISS movie that the powers that be listen to me and go talk to Cassandra Peterson about that opportunity: I think it's untapped. That one is such a perfect fit!

I don't necessarily agree with that statement (MI is quite good), but the show is a lot better then I expected.

I kinda have to agree with them. The Be Cool versions of the gang do get on each other's nerves from time to time, but annoyance is just a part of human relationships (no group of friends gets along 100% of the time), and I can tell that these guys are friends who do care about each other in spite of that. I just could not buy the MI gang's friendship, but that's a discussion for another time. I'll have to watch the other episodes before I can give my complete thoughts on the show, but so far I think it's pretty good. I'm OK with Daphne's different characterization here, as I'm just glad her main trait isn't her obsession infatuation with Fred and she can be pretty funny. I also like that Fred is more a straight man again in comparison to recent incarnations. Despite the comparisons I've seen, I think it's much better than Teen Titans Go!; at least BC isn't mocking fans of the original show or MI because of the backlash for not being like those shows. I feel like it would have been at least a bit better recieved had the character designs been a bit more attractive (the designs alone made some people decide not to bother watching the show at all, predicting it would be terrible somehow). Eh, I don't like them but find them slightly better than Get a Clue's designs. Then there's those animation snobs who now turn their collective noses up at straight-up "funny cartoons" and deride them as somehow being "inferior", but then again those types usually didn't care for Scooby-Doo until MI and just want that to be the standard for everything after so...

Jcb I wanted to ask some questions?
Would there be any chance of making an episode featuring a skeleton ghost mariachi? You know they're pretty popular (especially as Halloween costume) and they're so freakin cool *___*
In an episode Fred recalls a Daphneism which hasn't been featured in any episode yet: playing banjo! Is there still a chance to see that?
And actually I forgot the other ones..

Is there still a chance to see that? And actually I forgot the other ones.. Well, we have an upcoming episode that might fall into the "skeleton ghost mariachi" category you're talking about. It's actually one of my favorites of first season. It's called "El Bandito!" I don't have any plans to actually show daphne with a banjo and I assume it might get old pretty fast. People seem to have limited tolerance for some of her even more interesting "Daphne Du Jours," that an entire banjo show might be a bit much. But never say never. I look at these things as challenges. And actually, I forgot the other answers, too, so were good :

I'm not sure if you can answer this yet or not, but will the rest of the villains from the intro (mummy, ghost and spider) be used sometime in the series JCB?
