Yeah, that's an old design model created before Zac and I came on board. Ignore it.

Question: Why did you guy's choose this type of animation? You watches the older episodes, what did you think about them and other versions? How do you compare your show with the others? I prefer the WNSD/current DTV style. There is a technical reason and a personal reason. First the technical - eyesight I am short-sighted with bi-lateral kerataconus and astigmatism. The WNSD style is so much easier for me to see, its clear lines and bright colour palette mean I don't have to squint or have my face right up against the screen. Second the personal - and it is that personal, I like them human (and Velma curvy). Now I will easily conceded that I have not seen enough of the finished animation to have a final view but from what I have seen I prefer WNSD over Be Cool. TBH I prefer the Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get A Clue style to this as they still look like the gang. In Be Cool Shaggy's face just looks odd and Fred, well you know he's Fred because he's wearing an Ascot but the face just doesn't do it for me, it just looks like an extra from Gravity Falls. Now this doesn't mean I not going to watch it because I will, my TiVo box will be set to grab the series as soon as the EPG has the program, I'm just not warming to the animation style.

Found this cool interview with Zac Moncrief www.mb.com.ph/whats-up-doc-gets-answer-in-revamps/Also, I found this other interview only in Brasilian, with a new BCSD pic (probably not from the show). I translated the page with Google and even though Google translations aren't the best you can still understand!! "Classics drawings, "Scooby Doo" and "Bugs Bunny" will return to repaginados Brazilian screens on the Boomerang channel from next year. Although the stories do not escape the classics, the main difference of the new programs are the traits of the main characters. While the Scooby gang gained more marked eyes and adaptations in clothes, Bugs Bunny got a retro look - and is shortened with bigger feet. The changes made by the producers of the attractions are an attempt Warner Bros. Animation - Warner animation studio - to bring the drawings of children who do not know yet the iconic characters and also of adults who feel nostalgic watching the crayon drawings. According to Zac Moncrief, producer of the new series of Scooby Doo, the new design of the characters attracted younger. "As they are iconic characters, not crossed our minds to change their clothes, but we made some adjustments to let them closer to this new generation. For example, Fred and Shaggy wear skinny pants," he says. In addition, other aspects of contemporary life are also present on the day of the class that solves several mysteries. "Although they have cell phones and smartphones, we will not see them all the time to head down and dipped in this universe. We prefer to include a computer, which is where they will get information about the history of new locations and villains," says Moncrief . Although the mysteries are much of the history, Moncrief account that the design will be less focused on fear and more on comedy, and develop the story of each of the characters. "Before the Scooby and Shaggy were the ones who gave grace in the series, but now Daphne, Fred and Velma also become more interesting and funny. As the leader of the gang, Fred will get to have control problems. You Velma, yet who has difficulty to socialize, make it cool and funny, as well as Daphne, "he explains. To get closer to the original version of Scooby Doo, Moncrief says the dog has shorter dialogues. "The Scooby does not speak more than five words. It is limited to say something really funny and another character follows through dialogue," he said. In addition, Shaggy and his companion will not show up eating several times as in previous versions. "They are still powered food, but play with this issue differently." What do you think about it? Shaggy n Scooby won't eat all the time......it makes me feel so weird! I mean they said they would have kept the principal stuff from the first series even though almost every principal thing I know it's getting lost... duh
