I'm excited about an all new series, though uncertain of this... 'New style' of Scooby... I loved SDMI!!!! It was indeed more mature, mysterious and even scary I admit. A cartoon-ish series will make the difference... I'm giving it a chance hoping it will be good!  New soundtracks sounds pretty interesting!!!!  What would be really nice, for me, is if this new series was somehow in the memory of Casey Kasem... |

Indeed, from what you guys have said, I'm growing slowly more confident that this will be a good entry in the series. still it will take awhile to get used to courage- I mean Scooby.

Um... Looks like we have the original plot and character design, as well as that it will premiere on 2015.   May I say now that they look... utterly disgusting... They look like they jumped out of some sort of Family Guy show... I mean, look at Shaggy... I had got used to Scooby's new look from the initial picture with the logo, and I said "OK, how much worse can the rest of the gang be?"... I was wrong... |

Also, if you take a look at the text, it says that it will be pretty much like SDWAY: no relationships, and Scooby's dialogue will be limited, that is to "Scooby-Dooby-Doo!", "Yikes!", laughing and gulping and so on. Not like SDMI, where he talked too much, even sang, LOL... But at least I hope Fred is still crazy about traps, I liked him when he was like that.

I appreciate where they're going with the plot. I love that it will be a kids show, as SDMI had begun to skew a little mature for my tastes near the end, though that's not to say I didn't like it. I'm just thinking that it will be a nice change of pace. Also, while I'm not thrilled with the character designs (Shaggy's is the worst, but Velma's leaves something to be desired), it won't be a deal-breaker for me. I am definitely up for a fun series, and if the writing is there, this could be a darn good show.

By having limited dialogue, I assume Scooby will be more like he was in SDWAY?

Bleh, they look like Family Guy take oh characters, you know? When they make fun of other Animated shows?
How much more can they limit Scooby's dialog? Why are they even doing this? Isn't' this show about him? I hate normally living in the past but man I miss those 80s shows when Scooby talked a lot and was a big focus of the show.
Hey, hey Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get a Clue haters, which Animation would you say is worse now?
I seriously hope the films don't switch to this Animation, I've stayed in the fandom for along time but this...Are they trying to kill us here?

The character designs look terrible...but I am taking a strange liking to Velma... I'm so glad Scooby is going back to less talking, he was much cuter that way. Anyway, Frank Welker's take on the character is terrible and he hasn't done the poor little gu any justice. I only wish they had recast everyone....I'm not too fond of Mindy, Matthew, and worst of all....Grey DeLisle.  The best part of this news is that there will FINALLY be no relationships...the first time since 1997....maybe that means Daphne will FINALLY be her own character again. A least they got rid of Fraphne, maybe for good? I also like that Shaggy and Daphne are together. I'll give this a chance though. Voice cast aside, it can't be too bad, can it? |

To put it bluntly, anyone who says they look like something out of Family Guy hasn't seen Family Guy. I wouldn't have actually minded if they worked off of the Family Guy representations. I am curious to see where they're going to take this version of Daphne, though. The short sleeves and sneakers tell me that she's going to lose some of the girly-girl attributes of her SDWAY counterpart, on which these characters will allegedly be based.
Oh, and if the summary states that relationships aren't in the mix this time around, then what does it matter that Daphne is standing next to Shaggy? Velma is standing next to Scooby, are they gonna have a thing on the side, too? Please...

Having seen that new animation more than once since yesterday, I got kinda used to it. A break from relationships was a bit needed, though.

I really like it! I know most fans won't though... Being a fan of family guy, american dad, bob's burgers and ect, I really like it.

Shaggy reminds me more of a character from Camp Lakebottom. So far we have two datapoints, a close-up of Scooby and this drawing of the gang which may or may not completely reflect what is in the show. Not totally taken by what I've seen but they're not even stills I'll wait until I see it for real. Has anyone seen any actual animation or are we just arguing over just two drawings?
