It's Boo Brothers. But is Scooby-Doo Meets The Boo Brothers the Worst Scooby-Doo Movie? Tune in! Not even CLOSE lol. I say Boo Brothers is actually really, really good, but we are all entitled to our opinions

WhyBoy is always cynical. He wouldn't do these reviews if he didn't like something about these.

Oh yeah I love the experimental nature of Scooby doo and how many directions it can go in for its shows, movies and games in terms of setting and monsters. Just Boo Brothers in particular I felt could have been better with a bigger focus on the titular boo brothers and on the treasure hunt, as the stop and start nature of the other plots don't feel cohesive with them and are all dropped without any payoff. I'm definitely critical when it comes to the movies and shows but it's because I enjoy what could be done to improve these movies and shows? What could have been done to improve their mysteries, monsters, pacing and more? For me the experimental nature of Scooby makes me more excited to see what will Scooby do next even if personally some of the experiments can be flops.

I say Boo Brothers is actually really, really good, but we are all entitled to our opinions Oh definitely ^_^ I can see why people would love Boo Brothers. Just for me and Nero it doesn't hit the mark and feels all over as it can't focus on one plotline before dropping it and switching out of nowhere. So for me it's the first Scooby movie that was bad, mostly just because it was the first one developed for video release. Not the #1 worst Scooby movie. That would be a coin flip between Monster of Mexico and Return to Zombie Island for me

Monster of Mexico is miles ahead of Return to Zombie, if not just for the voice acting.

Goblin King is one I avoided but then revisited and enjoyed. Not sure how I'd feel about it currently.

I wanted to link this Youtube video. I'm 95% sure that the isolated electronic drum hits in the soundtrack of Boo Brothers were an SDS-V module. You can listen for yourself here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=blX9BOcG7gE&t=39s

Scoobypedia didn't like one of my trivia bits, so I'm posting it here. T.J. Buzby fires a warning shot which subsequently causes a large tree branch to fall on top of him. Just a year previously, John Carpenter's ''Big Trouble in Little China'' featured Jack Burton shooting a gun at a ceiling, causing bricks to fall on top of him in a similar fashion.

So this was the only pre-zombie island Scooby movie I had not seen. Having watched it for the first time a few weeks ago on blu-ray. I overall like the movie and can see why it is a fan favorite, that being said I have a couple issues with the movie. First is the pacing the movie runs a bit too long and is a pretty repetitive. The second is how the ending feels rushed with how the main villain is so quickly defeated at the end, which is annoying because they had the run time to make it a longer scene. Overall I though it was very good and looked great on blu-ray.
