Inappropriate maybe but that is the point of brainstorming/concept work, you have to go over the edge so you know where the edge is. When I've been writing I've often discarded stuff as 1. it would get me kicked off fan fiction if I published it 2. was too graphic/unnecessary BUT it allowed me to explore the scene more, to understand where things could go and produce a better* finished product. The creative process is messy and what you end up with may shock you.

tv tropes deals with situations that come up in movies or tv. things like crowning moment of awesome, for example, are called 'tropes'

as for the outfit it looks like something out of wwe, the girl 'contestants' there hardly wear anything, its for the ratings of course.

Well as they say, sex sells. I think its out of taste. My biggest thing about costumes is, I want something that looks awesome but is believable. If a costume isn't functional it takes away from it overall. I see Obliteratrix wearing more of a blast suit type thing or something more technological, not Sports Illustrated.
