I read the spoilers too ;D And I have to say this is one heck of a cliff hangar. This almost reminds me of a prime time comedy or drama show; the season ending with major cliff hangars and plot points left to be resolved sounds definitely like something out of a prime time series.
Hopefully Cartoon Network will air Season 2 very soon after Season 1 ends(ditto with Teletoon) so we can get a resolution to all these cliff hangars pretty soon.

In keeping with the trend i wont spoiler
definately the most adult scooby doo show, which i honestly have mixed feelings about since this was a childhood show for me are the kids of this generation more mature than mine (I'm 24)? (then again when i was a kid we had pirates of dark water and that involved people being eaten and melting)
anyway still a great episode cant wait for season/round two

Just watched it. Um...wow! That just blew the first 25 episodes out of the water. And that ending...it's gonna be a long wait for season 2! BTW, can someone please tell me what the heck Mayor Jones put on Pericles's eye to damage it that badly? I assume he gave him some knockout gas.

Color me impressed. The comedy was kept to a minimum, focusing on the drama and suspense. Season 2 should be a doozy.

Spoiler alert!
You know, in the end, I think the Mayor sort of knew his world was crashing down around him (like Fred, incidentally). He SAVED Fred from falling when he could easily gotten away! In the back of his mind, it's probable he did grow to love him--after all the lies and blackmail. Remarkable. Sheriff Stone, you have a LOT of nerve to be riding the gang like that, since they helped you keep your job. So much for "owing" them after "Dead Justice". Is it me, or does Velma seem the only one who really has the most "normal" parents?
