I noticed that ever since Joseph Barbera passed away in 2006, I figured that one of the direct-to-video Scooby-Doo movies made afterwards would be credited to him. He was an executive producer on "Chill Out, Scooby-Doo" but the film did not carry a dedication to him. (Instead, it was dedicated to Iwao Takamoto, who initially designed the Scooby-Doo gang.) None of the Scooby movies made after that were dedicated to Joe Barbera, either. (The more "realistic"-driven "Scooby-Doo and the Goblin King" was the first Scooby movie that was made without the involvement of Hanna or Barbera.) I'm saying this because "Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase" AND "Scooby-Doo and the Monster of Mexico" both carried dedications to William Hanna (apparently Bill Hanna had a bit of involvement with "Monster of Mexico" before his death.) Yet, none of the Scooby-Doo movies dedicated Joe Barbera! Instead, Warner Bros. Cartoons chose to dedicate Joe Barbera on "Tom and Jerry: A Nutcracker Tale" (Which was pretty much an extended episode of that cheesy "Tom and Jerry Tales" TV series!) I find this to be sort of an insult; I think at least "Scooby-Doo and the Goblin King" should have featured a dedication to Joe Barbera, but it didn't! Any comments/opinions? Or am I just crazy?

Definately an unfortunate oversight. I guess WB felt dedicating Tom & Jerry was enough.

That is surprising.

That is strange how William Hanna was dedicated in 2 Scooby movies, but Joseph Barbera wasn't at all. Thanks for sharing the info. I didn't know about that. And no, I don't think you're crazy.

I definitely think they should have dedicated something Scooby to him! That just seems wrong that they didn't!!
