I'd say advance the plot in some way with the ghosts, maybe have the gang find a clue that gets them closer to figuring out who it is.

I might have Daphne photograph the mystery clue for Velma and Marcie to decipher whatever it might be since Daphne's a bit stuck as to what it is.
